A bit of a learning curve, for sure, but well worth the effort. I use it for *all* of my lists and I couldn't live without it!
Best todo list app I have used
This app is great. The level of customization is much higher than other apps I have used. I am running on two devices and it has not crashed once. Dropbox sync seems to work better than iCloud, though I am not sure that is the fault of the app. 2 improvements for dev: auto sort lists based on a certain criteria like due date. Right now it seems as though I can choose for new entries to appear at the top or bottom then I have to resort each time I add. Second, allow more control over the red circle on the apps icon. For example, it would be nice if this number were dictated by items due today.
I highly recommend this app for people who love making lists of all sorts. It is very intuitive and highly customizable.

Crashes
It won't start now. Every time I try to open it does and then shuts down. Why as up with that.
Not ready for prime time
This app has some serious bugs. If you add list items using one template and switch to another template, it doesn't bother "converting" the existing items, nor does it behave cleanly when it encounters an inconsistency.
Adding a new list is about as unintuitive as it gets.
Try pressing a function button repeatedly and watch the drop shadow darken and spread as more and more instances of a pop-up menu render on top of each other.

The Leader of the Pack
This is the most versatile and flexible list-app I have come across so far (and I have tried many!). I find there are four features that specially set it apart from others.
1. Many kinds of lists in one and the same app. You can keep lists of any type - task, project, shopping, appointment, event, reminder, menu, reference, image, etc. They are all stored in the same place and work on the same system. To facilitate this, the app provides a number of templates, from which you can construct and customize your lists. You can copy a list you've made and reuse it - either with the same items or just the same settings, to which you add different items. You can also add multiple fields to any list, thus making it sortable in several different ways, such as by date or time or URL or contact or category. All kinds of lists, sortable in all kinds of ways, stored in one and the same place.
2. In particular, all your action items are in the same place. Todos can be linked with your calendar, your contacts, your photo library, or any address on the Internet. So, for example, if you are are working on a task list or a project, you don't have to exit the app to perform some related action; everything can be done from within KwikList - whether to phone or email someone, or to check some reference or to schedule an appointment or an event. All your todos can be viewed and managed together. You can also sync between devices, and the same lists will show on your iPhone and your iPad. So on each device you can keep all your action items together. There is less risk of things falling through the cracks because they are scattered in different apps or different devices. It very much unifies and simplifies task management.
3. All your lists can be sorted at all levels (list, category, item); and at each level you can perform either an auto sort or a manual sort, if you choose. Auto sorting can be done by any available field, such as date or category; while with a manual sort you can organize your data more intuitively, as by order of performance, or location, or urgency, or importance, and so on. The beauty is that you can do either auto or manual, depending on what you need.
4. All your lists can be organized by categories. These categories function like subfolders containing related matter. They can be expanded to show the items they contain, or collapsed to hide them, like a simple outlining tool. This is invaluable when you want to switch between brief overviews and more detailed ones. At a further level of detail, you can call up a note or a picture to any item, besides the contents of other fields.
These are some of the more outstanding features I noticed as soon as I began exploring the app. It did not take me long to learn or use them. I am sure there are other features that will strike me as I go further into the app, with the help of the manual, which I have downloaded and started reading.
There are one or two points on which this already excellent app can be further improved, and I have written to the developer about them. His responses were prompt and appreciative. One improvement is the addition of Air Print, which he says is on the way, with others to follow.
On balance, not only do we have here a very intelligent and very useful concept, but a developer who takes pride in his work and thinks with the end-user in mind. This is an app with a future. It is worth far more than the four dollars I paid for it and the five stars at which I rate it.
(PS. This review is partly influenced by a desire to balance the unfairly negative feedback of HeresMyTwoCents, which is clearly a case of barking up the wrong tree. You can't blame a Rolls Royce for not being a Kia. If all you want is a simple task list then stick to something elementary like Priorities or Done, both excellent in their kind but extremely limited. KwikList Plus
I am always making lists and then forgetting them when I get to the store. This app is great! I will always have my lists with me as long as I have my phone. AND...I actually get to check them off! I love it!
Lists, ToDos, and Notes... Oh My!
Ok. So it does it all. It replaces my Evernote. It replaces my Toodledo. It replaces my 3 or 4 note apps. It even replaces my Database apps. I'm very happy with this app. The developer is quick to respond to e-mails. It's just beautiful man!
But, it needs item by item sync so my family can join in on the fun. And it needs repeating tasks to be a fully featured ToDo app. At least in my opinion.
But since the developer answered quickly and stated those would be in a future update, I'm going to give it 5 stars anyway. ;)
UPDATE: Developer added repeating tasks! Awesome! Item sync is all that is left and it is promised by mid summer.
But, it needs item by item sync so my family can join in on the fun. And it needs repeating tasks to be a fully featured ToDo app. At least in my opinion.

Very useful app
This app has replaced the "to do" app that I was using. Te versatility and plethora of options is excellent. I prefer to have too many options than too few because I can always simply not use them.
I look forward to "item-level sync" in future updates. This feature will allow me to better update my lists across multiple devices.
The ability to sync with tasks from Outlook would be a nice option as well.

Overly complicated...
It seems pretty comprehensive but the interface is kind of clunky and inconsistent. I can't figure out how to get rid of the "items" category or change it's name or make a different category the default. There's no documentation to speak of and it isn't so intuitive as not to need any... You can muddle your way through, but doing so takes time. It needs polish and should probably be priced lower until it get it. I'll keep it in the hopes that it is updated frequently and improves rapidly but I probably won't use it much until doing so takes less effort. In the meantime, outliner works very nicely for most of my purposes.

LOVE IT!
I spent FOREVER and quite a bit of money looking for a list application that would do what I needed. Kwiklist came the closest but I still wanted the ability to duplicate a list's items on future lists. I wrote to Chris and he made it happen in this new version! Now I can make a standardized list of things I need to accomplish for clients and then just copy it for each new client in my workflow pipeline. THANK YOU!

Excellent customer service...
I've just starting using this APP and had some presales questions and received answers almost immediately. I was impressed that the developer was already looking at was to improve on an already impressive APP. I bought it and had another question and again, almost instant response from support. This guy has got it together!

Great app
Simple to use but very effective.
Sub Lists Please!
This is a great app and I would give it 5 stars if it just had sub lists. For instance, a folder called Home, then within home have a separate list for the basement, and another list for bedrooms, all under "Home" That would be great. Other than that this app does everything I need. I love the option to add pics. Being able to visualize helps huge.

Best app I have bought!!!
Exactly what i was looking for. I LOVE this app. I wish I had bought it sooner, I spent a lot of money this past month on productivity apps. I have a variety of lists. Trying to incorporate them on the typical GTD apps just did not work. Some of my lists just are not important enough to risk cluttering up an app such as "things" which I use for crucial tasks. I really needed something separate for my lists. This app is exactly what I have wished my iPad and iPhone could be used for.
The only thing that I would like to have, is subtasks. Or a way to have additional lists nestled in one main list. For example, if I have a list titled "vacation", it would be great to have sublists, such as a pack list, to do, etc.
I still rated it a 5, because even without that, it's so fantastic. It has now truly made my iPad a productivity tool. It is rare I make time to write a review. I cannot thank the developers enough for producing such a high quality app. I also want to thank you for making it universal for the phone and the iPad.

Good Start - Responsive Developer
Revision 3. This morning I deliberately deleted all my lists. This afternoon I used the "Restore From Backup" feature, and all my lists are back. This is quite impressive and may account for part of the $4.99. Nice work!

I was a little skeptical about the price, but I think the app is a good start. I've communicated with the developer about extra features and modifications to entering lists to make the process more user friendly and to support "economy of motion" by limiting the number of clicks required for list creation. The develop wrote back within a short amount of time and was responsive to and appreciative of comments. That in itself says a lot to me. Wish he had a trial version.

Too Pricey
I like the interface of this little app, but I think $4.99 is overkill for it. I like the options to be able to setup up to 6 different fields when creating your list. However, you can pretty much do all of what this program does using your existing apps on your phone using Notes and Tasks but just not the pretty interface. If you could pull in notes, tasks and birthdays from the iphone and place them in this little program, then it would be worth the $4.99.
