User reviews

Only reader for me.

This is the only reader I’ve found that allows you to organize your library by folders. If you don’t know. All you have to do is put ebook in a folder and KyBook reads the folder and creates a library based on folder name. Super easy. Super intuitive.

I REALLY HOPE that an update happens. I’d hate for this reader to die.

Still waiting on the next version.

Errors

The KyBook e-reader error is caused by a critical issue: the developer has abandoned the app, and the SSL certificates for its sync servers have long since expired.
Since Apple's built-in mechanisms (iOS/iPadOS) strictly require a secure TLS connection, an outdated or missing certificate on the KyBook server reliably blocks authorization and syncing with error code -1200.

Pretty good

The best reader for translating individual words and phrases that I’ve seen. But: selecting text is very annoying, eg it often selects blank spaces and dragging a selection field is unnecessarily difficult. That process needs an upgrade. I’d also like to be able to customize the popup menu.
