Confusing instructions
Had to call LaCrosse to figure out how to display wind and temperature information in the right place on the screen. A person was very helpful and issue was resolved in minutes.
Good to know
We use a remote sensor to monitor the temperature and humidity in our cabin. The information is helpful for monitoring current conditions.
Amazing Quality!
I have been using my weather station for two years now, the reports are very accurate and my station updates every minute or 30 seconds. The quality of these stations is very high and very detailed. It really helps me out!
Poor quality
Data doesn’t load often. Additional Device disconnects often or gives improper reading. Rain sensor never worked out of the box.

WiFi setup is extremely difficult and never works the first few attempts, then randomly decides it wants to connect if you leave it alone for a day. When things are connected it’s great, but it disconnects from WiFi several times a day no matter what I do.
Bad graphics for information.
Graphs do not have enough detail to give a quick view of accumulated water etc. Another annoying feature is the pop up to upgrade to a subscription.
And the fact it does not connect to the Wunderground, (that gives better details than the app)

Well made product
I set this unit up 6-7 months ago, and the rain gauge after all danger of ice ended in New England. It is well made and accurate. I am amazed how close the rain gauge agrees with my manual measurements which I do for CoCoRhas. I’m giving it 4 rather than 5 stars because I wish the rain gauge was integrated into the rest of the unit which I originally expected it to be.

Update went bad
I’ve had the weather station for 6 years Been having issues with getting on line after the update. It tells me a wrong password. very little info on the fix and nobody to help you Why update things when they were working good

More like a virus
Won’t connect
Cannot get it to connect to WiFi no matter what I do! It use to connect, now it doesn’t! Spent a lot of money for something that doesn’t work anymore! This is NOT right!!!!!

Been on the phone read the instructions still don’t understand how to get this thing to do the right weather not really worth having

The set up is amazingly easy. At a time when I am expecting “complicated” and “buggy,” it is nice to have easy to follow instructions and an app that works on the first try. Way to go La Crosse IT!
Bad news station!
The worst temp,and humidity readings I have ever had with any weather station I’v had!
Alerts
After about two years the alerts now are sending alerts that are totally wrong like your home is at 185 F …can not seem to get it fixed or help to fix it.

After the review I have had a reply from La Cross. Since then there has not been any further false alerts. Therefore my review has been updated back to what I would have reviewed before. Hopefully all is fine.
