About
La Pléiothèque is made for collectors of the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade, the French literary collection published by Gallimard since 1931. It keeps your collection up to date in a few taps, without a spreadsheet or a notebook.
ADD YOUR VOLUMES IN TWO TAPS
The complete catalogue is built into the app: 705 volumes and 66 Pléiade Albums, with the contents of each tome, the editor, the year of publication and the page count. Search by author or title, without worrying about accents, and tap “+”.
NEVER MISS A TOME AGAIN
For every work in several volumes, the volume page shows which tomes you own and which are missing. Add them to your wish list and they appear as dotted outlines on your shelf.
A RECORD FOR EVERY COPY
Condition, rhodoid, slipcase, purchase date and price, where it sits in the house, current loan, year you read it, personal notes. Everything a collector wants to find again.
FOLLOW NEW RELEASES
The year’s programme: announced volumes, confirmed dates, recent releases. One tap adds them to your wish list.
YOUR SHELF
Your volumes line up on shelves, spine by spine, in the binding colour of their century: havana brown, emerald green, blue, Venetian red, Corinth. Filter by century or switch to list view.
THE CABINET
The number of volumes, authors and pages in your collection, and how it spreads across the centuries.
YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No account, no sign-up, no ads, no data collected. Your library is stored on your phone and nowhere else. Export it to a file to back it up or move it to another device.
FREE, FOR GOOD
La Pléiothèque is free and will stay free: no subscription, no in-app purchase, no “premium” version.
ALWAYS UP TO DATE
The catalogue and the release programme update automatically, without a new version of the app.
The app is in English and French and follows your device language. Titles, contents and editors are shown in French, as in the publisher’s catalogue.
Independent app, not affiliated with Éditions Gallimard.
