American-Chilean fan
I’m an American but my father is from Chile. I’m an extremely passionate fan of the Chilean National team and the Chilean players. I never miss a game and follow the players club careers near religiously. I don’t know Spanish that well, I know I should and I plan to learn but at the moment I just don’t. I feel like not allowing a “change language” setting really only limits the amount of fans you can have on the app.
Another thing is that you can’t create a profile unless you’re native born Chilean. You need a regional ID number or something like that, and because I wasn’t born in the country, even though I have duel-citizenship, I can’t create a profile. Again this just seems to put a limit on the team’s fans, when it seems like any team’s goal is to keep as many engaged fans as possible. It makes me feel as though I’m not welcome to be a fan of La Roja.
The app itself is well put together for what I can navigate though. So I’ll give 3 stars.
