Game is fun but
The game is fun but it randomly crashes and the buttons don’t work sometimes unless you spam press them

Bard’s Tale and AD&D from the 80’s!!!
Love the retro feel of the game, especially the old school character icons that reminded me of the 80’s AD&D games. Tons of fun so far.
Absolutely awesome
I’ve been considering writing a classic Wizardry-style app, but this one knocks it out of the park. Great game. So far, the combat mechanics seem balanced. Wishing I had more gold at the start, but that’s pretty normal at the start of any RPG. I’d pay cash for an app like this (without ads).
Best free game ever!
Seriously, everything is right about this game. There is no morality alignment or character race so it is more simple in that regard. I personally think that makes it play better for a mobile app. There is also passive skills which can be purchased that improve every character class. Thieves and Ninjas can also identify items as well as the Sage, which makes party forming more flexible. The game is 100% free and aside from the ad marquis at the bottom of the screen the ads are optional in exchange for boosting your team. There is more that I’m leaving out. I really like this game!

incredible
this game scratches an itch i didn't know i had. this old-school DOS-style is underutilized in the current gaming market, and it's used excellently here. there's so much care and quality put into everything, from the progression systems, to the sprite art, and the chiptune music. i can't believe we get it all free-to-play!
i noticed the impending port to PC on steam, and i'm very excited to play that. all of the features and changes in the current demo also address the features i personally wanted to see. not sure if that version will be coming to mobile, but i would be willing to pay for that experience on either platform.

Not bad, poor UI
Cool game, wish it had an ad free purchase option and a better combat UI. Small buttons in random locations and no autocombat make for a tedious experience

Thank you for playing and for your feedback. I appreciate your comments about the UI and combat. They are helpful for my future development. If you haven't tried it yet, you might want to try the "virtual controller mode," as it may make controls more comfortable.
Great game but where is the scouting ring
Stuck on scouting ring, search all rooms in upper left corner of b4 nothing found, have magic orb lost on next step, only guide i found said above but seems to be wrong

I do apologize, but when i open the game, it starts up as a black screen, and nothing else happens.
Classic Throwback
This is one of those oldschool type games that keeps it simple and fun. Explore, recognize then figure out the best plan to utilize your team’s strengths, resources and minimize your weaknesses. Having a little trouble with utilizing the helpful cheats from Sylvan but nothing big enough to warrant not appreciating the pure nostalgia that we oldschool rpg game players love. Good job!!! 😎
P.S. As I’ve advanced into the game, several times I’ve lost all of my progress due to glitches of the game freezing and then having to start all over from the previous session again. I’m talking after a 30 minute to an hour of playing and finding new exotic gear and such. That really puts a damper on the playability while trying to get deeper in the dungeon. I had to take a star away for that due to that frustration. That needs to be fixed. Fun game without that headache tho.

Black screen
As others have noticed, opens to a black screen and nothing further. Sadly, must leave a one star review as it doesn’t work and other reviews indicate that the developer has known of this since February, 2024. I’m writing this October 26, 2025. You’ve had plenty of time to fix it.

We’ve updated the game’s initialization process and added compatibility with the latest iOS version. The update will be released soon, and we hope it will fully resolve the problem.
Phenomenal
Absolutely smitten with this game in all its oldschool glory. Challenging but fair, a delight to explore, with tons of content (cool items to discover, oodles of enemy variety, nice puzzles, well-built classes, awesome boss encounters). Dig the charming graphics and music, too.
Can’t recommend this enough for anyone looking for a pure Wizardry-like DRPG experience that’s accessible but doesn’t hold your hand too much. Absolutely bonkers that this is free to play, with ads running only when a “cheat” is invoked. Clearly a labor of love from a very talented creator.
I’m in the post-game dungeon now and fighting it out with the final bosses, who are truly not to be trifled with. Thank you for making this!

It NEVER works.
App opens to a black screen.
Black screen because It looks like this game requires an internet connection. I believe they need your data to serve ads, hence why it cant be played offline. Sad.
