Good App

I use this to score my daughter’s games. I find the app to be easy to use with a solid amount of detail you can use to score if you choose to. My one critique is I wish there was a way to export and view the play by play scoring of a game once the game is complete. Or at the very least be able to view the itemized scoring summary of a completed game. Perhaps in the next version that will be an option.

Great UX, need to update rules

I really like how straightforward the UX. However the “select game rules” section should be updated. I’m a high school level girls referee and coach and according to NFSHS, there are 12 minute, 4 quarters. If anything change the rules section from read only to where you can edit. Additionally the mercy rule is for a 10 point differential not one. Right now I’m using the boys rules in order for me to document stats according to quarter instead of halves. I tried making a submission on the contact page and it’s not working, if you can fix this the app would phenomenal. Thanks!

The NFHS changed the rules for girls LAX. We made the update in the app but users who downloaded the app before the change are seeing the old rules. Note, we also allow rules so you can make your own custom rules to fit your needs.

Corrections

The app if good but you can’t correct mistakes in game. For example, I mistakenly advanced to the fourth quarter and could not get back to the third quarter to finish the game. Also, having to hit done after a ground ball is a wasted step when trying to score a game

Almost there

The clock stops on most every stat recorded and should only stop on goals. If the timer part were fixed this would be a real winner. Any chance you can fix that?

Great app with room to grow

Love the app, easy to use and learn. I use it with my sons team as the team manager and usually default table worker. Tracks the important stats, points, and time in the game.

The only downside I’ve come across is dealing with penalties, a “separate” timer would be nice to have instead of reading the note section and doing math to figure out time when a coach/official asks how much time is left. I have this app on iPad and a separate app on phone for penalties.

Really bad

Spent days setting up teams on trial version then lost it all as unable to purchase subscription and zero support. Really disappointed. Good app gone to waste.

Excellent app and support

Developers are super responsive and are continuously implementing user feedback. Have now used this for a 14u girls season and really like it.

Great Product and Customer Support

This product works very well for our High School Lacrosse team. I reached out to the support team and received and email very quickly with answers. They have a great update in the works and I look forward to trying it out. I use this app on my iPad and think it works awesome with the bigger screen vs. the iPhone. Give this app a try and I think you’ll enjoy it as I have.

Custom Jersey Numbers

Thanks for developing the app. I used it to track our U12 game and it worked really well.

I had a couple things that were an issue that maybe someone could help with

Is it possible to add custom jersey numbers? Youth sports is rarely able to maintain jersey numbers without some overlap.

Viewing stats from the “Stats” menu crashes the app. (iPhone 11 pro, iOS 14.4.2)

The goalie saves/shots on does not transfer to the csv from the game data.

Please send us an email to support@scorebookplus.com. We also have a contact us link under the main email menu. This will allow us to directly respond to track down the crash issue. Regarding custom Jersey numbers, we need a way to uniquely identify a user for stating purposes. Since player names may not be unique and are more time consuming to enter this poses a challenge. We are doing an update to how stats are tracked and have noted the .csv issue. We look forwarding to hearing form you on the above email so we can assist you further. Thx

If you want an easy to use app, this is AWESOME! Plus, they recently added cumulative stats for players and the team. Super helpful!!

Disappointing

I agree with others who have been disappointed by the lack of response by developers to make revisions needed. They have my first years subscription money, won't get any more.

Gr sparty, You contacted us directly via email asking us to add feature specific girls LAX scorekeeping for Draw Controls, which we added. It was great feedback though the feature wasn’t implemented in time for your season start. We wish we could have implemented it sooner but we receive a lot of great feedback and generally respond within 24hrs.

Unfortunate

This app has the potential to be great, there are just a few things missing or not operational. The Team Snap function to import your team hasn’t worked for me yet. This would make things easy. Also it would be nice if there were fields under the player information that allowed you to insert their primary and secondary positions as well as their graduating year. The reason it is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is the nice added feature of being able to insert the game rules, periods/halves, time, and timeouts. It would be nice if there was an option that allowed for further editing of the stats being recorded and the specific penalties. I am only doing the monthly to see if any further development of this app increases its abilities to record what I need to record, but for now it won’t quite cover all the information I need it to.

The app’s main focus is scorekeeping and stat tracking so we don’t collect information beyond what we need to do that in a game in order to keep it simple to use. Note in our app the only required information for a player is their jersey # as that’s needed for stat tracking. First name and last name is optional, but we provide it since some users know the players by name and not jersey #. All of the stats we collect can be editing at any point during the game or even after the game has been completed. We’ve adding training videos on our web site to help users get more familiar with the functions of the app. We did not include the ability to record the specific penalty type due to limited space when using the app on an iPhone, but we’ve added this to the list of features for a future release. For TeamSnap we removed the integration as the issue was intermittent and we could not reproduce it and are working with TeamSnap to get the feature turned back on once we can find a better way to track the problem. You can contact us directly via email using support@scorebookplus.com for any feedback you have. We have a “Feedback” option in the app and in our web site to collect this information and respond directly with any concerns.

Started out great. Ended up not.

This has so much potential - but the execution is HORRIBLE. I was never able to get end of season stats I ended up paying for months to get it straightened out but never did. There were a lot of promises to fix but they never did. Don’t waste your money on this one.

We have season level stats in the app both for the team and individual users. To access the stats select this from the main menu under “Stats”. Other users were having problems finding the stats so we moved this so it’s easily accessible at the top level under the main menu.
