It’s a pretty good and easy company to use. Except that their cars are super dirty, and every code on the dashboard is on. From the check engine light to tire pressure, and I mean literally every code( light) on every car will be on. Other than that, good experience.
Scammers be aware
Scammers they charged me $57 for 2 shifts I’ve drivin 121 miles on them! Even though I filled the tank before returning the car they showed up fake receipts maybe not for the cab I drove and said it’s fuel overage. 121 miles then $12 each gallon.

Bad experience
Not great experience. I only did one shift to check it out. I was robbed for gas money. I picked up a car with 83% gas according to the app and returned it the same way. I was charged $8 dollars for gas and $8 service charge that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. To get the payout is also a hassle. They r holding $100 deposit for a month that I also wasn’t aware of. I wouldn’t recommend using this app to anyone. Also for someone who doesn’t live in Manhattan Queens or Brooklyn catching a car from home at a decent time is close to impossible. They don’t show let’s say that the car is gonna available in an hour let’s say so u can get there in time 👎

Many Drivers have Complaints about this Company
Been driving with this company for 1 year with no issues, and all of a sudden they decide to take extra (after lease, tolls, surcharges, other taxes, etc.) money from my account without any explanation, if I ask for a receipt they’ll say they don’t have one which is a violation of TLC rules. If I ask why they took extra money from me they’ll say a customer disputed a transaction, and yet when I call their credit card company they say no such thing happened. So I call Lacus back and ask them to provide me with the trip numbers of the disputed transactions and they’ll say “we don’t have that right now.” Then they ask you to come to the office, but I didn’t even bother because I’ve already asked other drivers what happens if you do that, and they say they still don’t get their money back. If you currently drive for this company report them to the TLC and change to a different company as soon as possible. If you don’t drive for this company, then keep it that way.

I came home after 12hours of shift and I saw they charged me 332$ for transactions expenses,I was shocked to see and tried to call lacus and ask but no body has answers even i visited Ali in garage so how they are treating like animal.stay away from this garage or join me to report them.

I use Lacus, have weekly car, it’s easy because now I can manage by balance on the phone. Thank you Lacus, these apps make life easy

Excellent apps for taxi drivers.
As a full time student, Lacus made my work schedule much easier. You can start work anytime and their car all borough of NYC. All you have to do download the Lacus app and sign up. Once you sign up, you ready to drive. You don’t have to come to the garage!!! You will see all cars list on the app. Most of the car are excellent condition.Just chose any car whatever close to you and once you finish your shift just park the car close to your home or anywhere( but it has to be legal park). Lot of drivers complain about payments delays. It’s true lacus hold drivers money for 72 hours cause payment processing takes time. But the good thing is you don’t have to go garage.! Everything on apps!!!!. Any kind issues or problem?! Just call lacus customer care or you can chat with them they will solve all kind of problem and they have 24 hrs active service. One of best taxi 🚕🚕🚕garage in NYC.
