Beautiful synth

Multiple oscillators, logical interface and beautiful sounds make this a must have synth. Its depth of sounds is really amazing .

iOS/ipadOS/apple silicone 対応。

Very smart synth

This is very smart idea packed in a single-page synthesiser.
You basically choose a template, called "algorithm", and then you tweak those template parameters by turning knobs.
The advantage, over the traditional synths, is that it is easier to produce meaningful sound. You don't have that much freedom, as with traditional synths, but that doesn't mean that possibilities are not endless. If you want a quick sound, but don't want to use presets, this is a perfect synthesiser for you.
It may be one of my favourite synths, already.

Fully functional auv3

Not the best sounding synth imo but this is a fully functional auv3 unlike a lot of the other synths on the market so 5 stars!

Fantastic Instrument!

Iceworks has become my favorite soft synth designer. The interface is wonderful to interact with and the sounds are lush and deep. Between Lagrange and Nambu, I feel like I can cover all the sounds I like.

One of the greatest!

One of the most incredible synthesizers on iOS, you can‘t get wrong here:

5/5 🌟100% RECOMMENDED MUST HAVE ❤️

Great synth, but if I may….

This synth is fantastic, I love a synth with a lot of oscillator types, this is my favorite synths from this developer ( I do wish Cassini was still supported and given the auv3 treatment but that’s another story ) the routing is great and adds more depth to the presets, which is the weak link. While I prefer programming my own presets, there are others who may not and 30 presets is simply not enough. Although the routing options gives presets more sonics , it still needs to include a lot more presets for people who might not enjoy coming up with their own presets like some of us do. Id say at least 128 if not 250 presets and a more robust browser would be great….or, and Id like to see this more than more presets, a Randomizer button. That would really be awesome, where you can set a percentage of up to 100% of the parameters to be randomized. Or even sell presets expansions via iap. Again, no complaints about the synths and personally I’m ok with making my own sounds, it’s really fun but I’m thinking of others who just want to spend time picking sounds over programming. Anyway that’s my 2 cents.

Good but

The preset names need to be something more descriptive and there should be more of them.

Under-rated synth. The sequence-changing is a USP.

My review disappeared, I think if you give an app another star-rating, that’s what causes this phenomenon? Compact, allows 7,8, up to 9 instances in Garageband on my iPad Pro 2 12.9 inch device, after tweaking a bunch of settings, which all instruments benefited from. Nice sounds, I am thinking the ‘sequence’ bit is either FX built-in, or something else I have not grasped? Anyway like a blind man stumbling around, but much less adept than such partial or non-sighted people are, I found a lovely range of variation of timbre and sound, if I select a different ‘sequence’...the thing i mean, is the little squares that zoom around in the moving demo on the app entry description.

It sounds very like when i rearrange FX on an instrument anyway. I saw the twiddly knobs at first, and thought it was daunting, but it’s been worth spending some time and it is not as hard as I first supposed. As the title says, this is perhaps underrated, certainly was by me, it sat for a while before I realised it was very compact, and GarageBand would let me fit the most instances of any synth into a song using AUv3 - I did the tests on every synth app I have, this was up there at 8 or 9 instances, way more than I had parts needing played in the song.

Good job but too few presets

Good job. but there are too few presets "ready to go".
Needs more, please. 4 stars value if you'll add more sounds.

Best synth on iOS

I own quite a few of the top iPhone synth apps, and this one slays them all for the kind of music I’m into making (lofi and ambient)

The variety of oscillators is on point, and the synth is very easy to edit. Be sure to google “richard yot Lagrange presents” and download his excellent lofi/ambient presets to give you a great starting point to learning this amazing synth!

Fantastica !!!

Highly recommended! You can make very nice sounds from it. The interface is very nice, love it 🤩

This synth instantly became one of my top faves! 🥇

I’ll keep it brief and just list the things I love about it:

* Great sound quality and possibilities, very unique sound - unlike any other synth I got. It’s got very organic type of sound that’s very suitable for playing with both hands. Great for pads/ambient sounds as well.

* Very intuitive and pleasant to use UI. All of the controls are easily accessible without going into different pages. (There are 2 of each: OSCs, ENVs and LFOs) I like that as you change the routing possibilities, you can play the onscreen keyboard without it closing. And there are a lot of other little things like that, just feels like a lot of thought and love went into development of this synth.

* Patches are stored alphabetically and you can create your own folders. There’s Save and Save As, so you can create patches quickly, and never worry about getting lost.

* Microtonal tuning allows to tune each note individually! I just tried it briefly, but it’s got so much potential for going one step beyond creating unique sound - a completely unique instrument! Look forward to exploring this further.

I usually list a couple of suggestions in my reviews, but I just don’t have any for this synth... it’s just perfect!

This is the only app I got from this dev so far, but I’m sure I’ll be getting more soon. Thanks for creating this gem!

Great sounding highly recommended synthesizer
I love that you scroll side to side on small screens instead of switching back-and-forth from different pages 👍🏼👍🏼

Excellent synth for beginners

I’ve been using iOS synths for about a year now and I’ve never come across one I took to as immediately as Lagrange. To start with there are plenty of algorithms - as they are called in the app - which give you a good starting point and basis for designing the sound you want. The layout is on one page - apart from the arpeggiator - which gives an easy way of working through the design of the sound without swapping about from page to page. I’m no expert sound designer but even I can get some useable sounds of various timbres from this - anything from gritty to ambient. I’ve been using it to create soundscapes and drones and it does this well also. All in all this has become my go to synth.

Another great one

Lots of good sounds coming out of this one! Like all of their synths! Get it now!

Stellar

This one does it all, folks! There’s some really cool sounds you can tease out of Lagrange that I haven’t found in any other developers synths.

Excellent addition to my IceGear collection

Yet another deep synthesizer from IceGear. Unique, intuitive layout and beautiful color palette make this a joy for sound design and with so many oscillators to choose from it is already one of my favorite iOS synthesizers. I have already spent two hours creating beautiful pads, thick and plump basses and dark experimental soundscapes. This is a no-brainer purchase, as are all of IceGears synthesizers. Very well done.
