Dont Use Lake Link anymore service is terrible now since everyone got lazy and decided to just direct people to the nearest bus stop thinking that would help but in reality its a big waste of people's time and the bus driver's as well. Might as well find another way of transportation since everyone is careless now. Insanely Ridiculous Lol

Drivers great, app updates terrible
The timing is horrible. And it’s different for everyone. Standing next to my nephew, both requesting exact same rides from A to B and mine says 8 minutes, his 74. So I click on accept ride…. 44 min. Showed up at 33. Happens WAY too often to be reliable for appointments, work, and other time sensitive tasks.

Totally Worth It
The app absolutely works. At busier times just plan ahead, the wait time can go back up or stay still. All the lake link people are safe drivers and personable folks. Had a great experience using as a tourist for a month!
bad service
One of the drivers did not wait two minutes they just took off. They didn’t give me a call. We have been waiting out here for a long, long time with a child and this happens every time and has came to a point was like ridiculous and we’re not gonna use this app anymore bye

Pay the money for an uber or lyft. There are very few wonderful drivers on this app who will not call the cops on you for no reason. I just would not recommend the risk of getting a rude driver who will speak ill to you off camera and then speak to management as if they’re the victim even though they made me extremely uncomfortable. NOT WORTH IT.

Miranda cancelled my ride without even showing up
I requested a ride on September 17, 2025 at 8:00pm from Safeway at elk and it said 70 minutes and I sat outside waiting then it reached 9pm and it said Miranda is on her way then suddenly it says ride cancelled and I’ve been right here and no one showed up.. this one really hurts me as I’m writing this because it’s a 2hr walk from here and I’ve already been waiting almost 70 minutes

Waiting time
The waiting time on it is so crazy long! I had to wait 43 minutes for a ride and I had to wait the whole 43 minutes, ruining my plans! This app is not efficient enough.
Be ready to be hours late.. if they even get you.
I’ve had drivers drive up to me and drive away had my wait time go down to 2 minutes then up to 30 or even an hour after waiting the initial 30. Wouldn’t recommend
Erratic
So many bugs, added one star because at least it works better on iPhone but delayed responses, sometimes the wait times vary drastically, and then the driver feedback suggests that more users are having issues but nothing gets fixed. They implemented a “stop” system last year that caused so much havoc. Then stopped driving to California base. The map needs to be expanded but no one takes the locals seriously. I could go on but I’m not writing a book here. Worst app but I’ll keep using it.

Trouble logging back into account.
I’ve been trying to log back in with the only email and phone number I have. It won’t work. Doesn’t give any options to try any other way and it just says “incorrect email or phone number”
Idk what one you want me to use. Let me use my number to get a code and log back in. Give me some other options to recover my account or let me make a new one. Instead of being locked out until I hear back from y’all or a blessing comes down and I get it working.

Lake link p/u & destinations
The Central SLT are is devoid of decent transportation! I live on Fountain Ave, 13 blocks from Hwy 50/Lake Tahoe blvd, which is too far for a 79yo to walk to catch transportation! I would like to go to dinner at the Moose Lodge at 961 Eloise Ave, and it is not in the Lake Line area (only a few blocks from Hwy 50 & close to Emerald Bay Road. Why does this service go all the way up Kingsbury, & over to RoundHill & does not serve important areas in South Lake Tahoe? Seems like we always get left out!

So handy!
I had made my mom walk far down Lake Tahoe Boulevard and it was warm. On the way back to the cabin she saw this van and since it said “free” I got the app and we were able to get home very quickly. My mom really felt like it saved her day. Thanks Peggy!

When is Lake Link coming?
When can we get service in the Tahoe keys? You have isolated us seniors for over 3 years. Can’t afford the parking fees in town. Can’t wait 2 hours in a hot grocery store parking lot for lake link to show up.
