Won’t let me pay
I used to use lancaster eats any time I wanted a takeaway, deleted all other takeaway apps cause it was better, now it won’t let me pay by card, have removed and re added card, updated app and then deleted and redownloaded app and it won’t let me use Apple Pay or pay by card method.

Brilliant App. Loaded with loads of good outlets. Vast range of different foods to choose from, and not just takeaways. Lots of other outlets on the app like cake shops and sweet shops.
Something for everyone. Local company, that serve and deliver to the local community. They even sponsor the local football and are embedded in the community.
This is a great app for ordering local takeaway food, and is actually cheaper than the big branded national apps that do the same thing. Always lots of offers and discounts on, which I like as it encourages you to experiment a little.

Slow Service and Worse Features
Yes, Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat might charge you more, but at least they arrive roughly on time!
Both times I’ve ordered food, the driver has been late to the restaurant, leading me to believe there are one, maybe two drivers at most. I called the restaurant the second time and asked when my order would arrive, to which they said ‘I don’t know’! By late here I mean over an hour from estimated delivery time.
Spend your money where it works, not here.

Downloaded and signed up to the app, spent ages making a sizeable order then when I got to the pay screen it said that some of the items were now unavailable. No hint as to which items they were and after another 20mins of trying to amend the order until it was happy we gave up and used Uber eats instead.

Been looking forward to this being released! Cheaper than all the other food ordering apps with a far better selection of takeaways too!
