Follow the text sentence by sentence while Landfall reads aloud—even through screen locks. Choose OpenAI · Marin for natural cloud narration, or a downloaded Apple system voice labelled Premium for free offline listening. If cloud audio is interrupted, narration pauses and offers Retry instead of silently changing voices.

Pause at any passage and start Jam. On compatible iPhones, Apple On-Device Jam is free, private, works offline, and uses the passage on screen. Cloud Talk can explain a line, challenge an idea, or search more of the book. Say “note that” to pin your thought to the exact line that inspired it.
MEET THE PEOPLE IN YOUR BOOKS
Discover selected authors and major characters from the books in your library. Build a source-linked profile, then have a persistent voice conversation with a clearly labelled AI persona inspired by that person or character. Each persona keeps a separate history and memory on your iPhone. Create and share a video of the conversation; audio/video recording starts only after you tap Record.
MAKE OLD TEXTS CLEARER
Rewrite dense translations as Plain English, Grade 8, or Young Readers, chapter by chapter. The original is always preserved, and your notes stay anchored.
PODCASTS WORTH YOUR TIME
Browse a finite daily digest drawn from the top podcast charts. Subscribe, stream, download, and leave notes at exact timestamps. Jam clearly labels its context as Full transcript, Current excerpt, or Description only. When no transcript is available, it says it cannot verify the hosts’ exact words.
WHAT’S FREE
Reading, imported books, notes, podcasts, the daily digest, a downloaded high-quality Apple offline voice, and Apple On-Device Jam on compatible iPhones work without Landfall Premium. New readers also receive a small, one-time welcome allowance for OpenAI narration, podcast transcription, and cloud Talk.
LANDFALL PREMIUM
An optional auto-renewing subscription renews your monthly AI allowances: 8 hours of premium narration, 8 hours of podcast transcription, 15 minutes of book and podcast conversation, and 10 minutes of People conversation. Usage stops at the limit, with no AI overage charges. Eligible book and podcast cloud features can instead use your own verified OpenAI key; People research remains Premium-only.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No Landfall account is required. Your library, notes, transcripts, saved People profiles, and listening history stay on your iPhone. Apple On-Device Jam stays on-device. Cloud features send only the text or audio needed for that operation to Landfall’s relay—or directly to OpenAI when you choose your own key. Landfall does not retain full books, notes, prompts, transcripts, generated narration audio, or API keys in operational logs. See the privacy policy for retention details.
