Good when Pinterest gets overwhelming
I knew what I wanted for my backyard but had a hard time explaining it. This app helped me get on the same page as my husband before we have our contractor start our project.

Useful landscape design tool
I’m in the landscape industry and have found this app to be very helpful. I can quickly get to a concept plan, saving significant time in design phases and approvals.
Yard of My Dreams
I’ve wanted to refresh my yard for a long time but the task always seemed so daunting. Enter Vera. Having options laid out in front of me is a game changer. Now I can envision all the elements I’d like: an outdoor kitchen and dining area and lounge area, a firepit, a raised kitchen garden - all in the right dimensions in my yard! Plus the things I hadn’t fully thought about beforehand but need to add to the plan: trees, hedges, pathways. Using the Pro version had even more options and let me finish out a layout my dream yard. Now I just need to figure out how to finance this!

Great Yard Design for Beginners
I know nothing about landscaping and Vera is providing a lot of visual examples to help start imaging what my jungle of a yard might become. The text that goes along with the great pictures is helping me think through different selection trades and learn the lingo so the contractors won’t take me for a ride. I also love the 3D modeling tailored to my space and selections. I’m looking forward to continuing to use Vera!

This app is great at translating your yard improvement dreams into realistic plans. The satellite image aspect of this app is so helpful! It helped me visualize exactly what can (and cannot) work in my space. I feel ready to tackle some projects on my own as well as reach out to a few professionals in the future. I also appreciate there’s a weekly subscription option. This was perfect for drafting a specific project I had in mind.

Broken and Forced
Requires an account, map simply doesn't work, can't load anything unless you select the specific options it provides, repeatedly asks for location sharing, continuously asks to upgrade to pro, repeatedly throws popups in your face to press buttons and check stuff out. GET OFF... Just let me explore the dang app without shoving it in my face and requiring so much information. I just want to see if this even does what it advertises. It doesn't unless you pay.

I’m sorry for your experience, BigNaaBruh. We’re a new app and feedback like this helps. :) We actually just increased the number of free yard features you can add to your map. You will, however still need to share your location, so definitely recommend saying yes on that for full functionality — you’ll need a satellite snapshot of your yard to redesign it.
Awesome App for my landscaping projects!
I can’t say enough good things about the Vera app. I love seeing the changes to my yard in real time. There are features and suggested material I didn’t even consider or know about — Very cool!
