Amazing language learning app
The app offers multiple features and games to learn a new language. It is fun, has a clear structure and progressive lessons. Highly recommend!
Lessons feature is nice
Solid app if you’re looking to do conversation practice. It was pricey before tbh, but they lowered the cost and added a free trial.

Overpriced & Mediocre
LangTalk is nothing special. It is built off of OpenAI’s GPT-4 (not even the newest) model. This becomes especially apparent when generating longer responses, as LangTalk is slow and clunky.
Not only that, but you have to PAY to use this model. The cheapest plan is $12 a month for 150 messages a month. That’s less than 5 messages a day. How is anyone supposed to learn at a rate like that?
You’re much better off using the plethora of Spanish tutoring GPTs inside the ChatGPT app - which use the same GPT model if not better - for completely free.

[2] Free trial: We added a free trial so people can give the app a go for free. [3] Lessons: We added language lessons to help people learn vocab & grammar. [4] Roleplay: We're testing a role-play feature (in beta) to help people learn language concepts through fun scenarios.
