LanguageGo - Learn Japanese

A little Japanese. Right where you look. LanguageGo brings Japanese vocabulary to your home screen and lock screen, then helps you remember it with short, focused reviews. Supports iPhone Duo. Unfold for a roomy study layout, then fold back without losing your place in study, quizzes, or writing practice. Build your vocabulary for everyday Japanese: beginner foundations first, then useful words for travel, work, food, chats, apps and online life. Study words with example sentences, pronunciation and audio. • See words, readings, meanings, and example sentences in your widgets. • Tap a word or sentence to open that item in the app. • Swipe or tap Missed, Close, Got it, or Easy to rate your recall. Spaced repetition schedules the next review, including older words across decks. • Hear Japanese words and sentences with Slow, Normal, or Fast playback. Choose from four recorded voices for supported content, with device speech available when recordings are unavailable. • Follow stroke order and practice writing supported characters from memory. • Browse everyday vocabulary topics, search your library, and bookmark words. • Choose your starting level or take an optional placement check. • Download Anime and N3 vocabulary packs with Mastery. • Set daily goals and optional daily, evening, and weekly reminders. • Personalize the app with six themes and matching icons. For new or relearning words, Missed schedules the next review in 10 minutes, Close in 1 hour, Got it in 1 day, and Easy in 3 days. Close gives you another try before moving on. Later review intervals adapt to your recall. The My Reviews widget starts with meanings hidden; Show meaning can be changed in Edit Widget. Start with a free Core selection matched to your starting point. Optional Mastery unlocks the full Core collection and downloadable Anime and N3 packs. Downloaded pack text works offline. Voice recordings stream and are saved as you study; offline playback uses available recordings or your device's voice. Personal Anki import and Anki sync are not available. Your review history and bookmarks stay on your device. There is no app account or advertising. Pack downloads, streamed audio and purchase validation require an internet connection. iOS controls widget refresh timing; a new word on every screen wake is not guaranteed. Optional Mastery purchases may include monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a lifetime one-time purchase. The app shows local prices and trial eligibility before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Any eligible free trial converts to the stated paid plan unless cancelled. Lifetime has no recurring charge.
