Lost Data
The app has been glitchy but I didn’t think it would’ve lost nearly 3mo of data. It’s kind of heartbreaking. I tried to be loyal but there’s better applications out here. DISAPPOINTED.
Doesn’t save info
This app completely cleared all of my information. I try to keep everything to make sure I’m pumping enough and right amount of hours and it keeps logging me out and clearing the data
Unpairs
Unpaired in the middle of a session. Yells at me if I’m a few minutes late for a pumping session. Getting mom shamed from an app. Would be nice if the reminder could be automatically done for example every 2 hours.
6/30/25 app wont update
There’s an update supposedly and it will not let me update so now I can’t use the app until it updates.

Frustrating app
I like the pump but the app is so glitchy, currently I can’t even open it because it says there is a new version to update and then when I come to the App Store there is no update available so I can’t even track the milk I just pumped. I’ve had issues where when I connected the app it will turn the pump on full suction WHILE IM USING IT, which is extremely painful and dangerous. I usually have to completely close the app the get it to connect and sometimes it doesn’t let me go to the screen to track the amount of milk so I have to close out of it and just track it manually. Definitely some issues that need to be worked out. Exclusively pumping is enough work as it is I don’t need an app that’s supposed to make things easier, making more work for me.

Complete delete all my record
Today, June 30, 2025, the app had a glitch and was telling me to update in the App Store even though there was no update needed. It was not letting me use the app to record my pumping sections. So I deleted the app from my phone and downloaded it again! Thinking that because I had an account, the record would save, I signed in and all my breastmilk pumping records were COMPLETELY DELETED!! From January 2025 to June 2025, I am so devastated. If the app were a person, I would have been pushed out of it. I wish I could give zero stars. I'm heartbroken, all my pumping section disappeared in a heartbeat.

It’s annoying
First of, I bought my 3.0 because it had an easier app for me to log my sessions. Half of my sessions are randomly deleted and I get random notifications about my sessions ending when I haven’t even done one. Then poof my last two days of work are gone.
Saving issues/glitchy notifications
Are yall planning on doing something about the notifications that pop uo saying “pump session has ended” when the session has been logged and saved? Or the fact that daily i lose data from my non-smartpump entries; with mom brain there is no way for me to accurately remember the time and how much i pumped hours ago THATS THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS APP. For a very simple thing to just vanish hours later is crazy. I would love to recommend this pump to people but not if the app is inaccurate at times

Not worth it
This app is very glitchy. I would receive push notifications over and over, even after churching the app. The only “benefit” is being able to start or stop. A pumping session but recording is all still manual except fir time. I would much rather use another app like huckleberry that is not glitchy
3/18/25 update messed up app
Just updated the app and now it won’t update any of the diaper changes, bottle feeds or anything else. Only pump sessions. Whats the point of updating the app and fixing issues if it just creates issues instead? I’ve used this app since December of 2024 and suddenly have issues?? Fix app to prior update before 3/18/25

App is horrible
A few days later they randomly add dark mode. This feature is the least of your concerns. Fix the major issues stated in all the reviews. I’m a huge fan of dark mode, everything I use is dark mode but this app is unacceptable for such an important part of breastfeeding.

I’m waiting this review today fed up because last night I went to open the app and it said there’s an update. So I click yes update now, I go to the App Store, there’s no update available. I wasn’t my free pump through insurance on a mediocre pump with an app that is unstable. What gives.

Worst app ever
I have to repair the pump every time I want to register as a smart pump and half the time if I want to use the app nothing is working right now I’ve been trying to put my session in that wouldn’t record even though it’s a smart pump and I pair it and everythingbut now the whole entire apps not working and I can’t even put in a nons smart pump this is the worst app ever it is seven in the morning and I have a Baby screaming at me because I am trying to figure out your stupid app

Terrible App – Absolutely Terrible
I’ve been utilizing my 3.0 for almost 11 months now, as an exclusive pumping mom. I love the pump, so I’ve looked past the obvious app flaws – incorrect duration of pump sessions (adds random amounts of time onto pump sessions), inconsistent time log (sometimes logs the start time BUT will randomly log the end time), constant notifications about connection and start or stop of sessions (which are not actually taking place). Frequent disconnection followed by an irritating process to reconnect. Random sessions needing “review” for syncing. Those issues alone just cause additional stress each day…when the app quite literally is supposed to make our lives easier. If I attempt to correct the durations or time log…the entire pump session will literally disappear. Then I have to try to remember all of the details, and manually enter a “non-smart pump” session. Again…I’ve looked past all of these issues for almost 11 months (a smart person would have given up on the app by now).
I CAN’T look past the app freezing, and losing all of my data. I have spent countless hours pumping, washing and sterilizing pump parts, and quite literally planning my life around pumping with Lansinoh’s products…only to lose almost 11 months of pumping session data. I’ve put in all the hard work…and the app can’t even retain SIMPLE information ACCURATELY? It’s honestly insulting to even offer or advertise an app that just cannot keep up.

App stopped saving breastfeeding entires
about 3-4 weeks ago it stopped saving BF entries, just shows spinning symbol and never saves, have to close out app to uses it again for pumping entries.
other criticisms:
no way to distinguish bottle feeding entries as breastmilk vs formula, so i can't use itvto determine my baby's intake of my milk vs supplemental formula to see if i am gaining ground or not.
the charts from history are not helpful beyond daily totals.
for water intake, wish it would allow continuous values in ml or oz vs discreet choices of different size bottles if water because none of my mugs/jugs fit the options they have

Does not pair
I have been trying to to pair the pump with app, but the app does not recognize any of the codes. It won’t allow me to pair at all.
Can’t even access it
I’m trying to simply pair the device to the app and despite entering the code sent to my email, was told I need to call to connect the device. I’m literally stuck in the app and can’t proceed.
Great pump, Baby App 👎🏽👎🏽
I’ve been using the Lansinoh Smartpump 3.0 Double Electric Breast Pump for about three weeks now, and I’m very pleased with the overall pump system. I was particularly excited about the accompanying Baby App because I love efficiency and tech. On the plus side, the app has a clean, modern design, is easy to navigate, and includes helpful built-in tutorials and resources. However, there are significant challenges in using it. So far, I’ve only been able to use the Baby App ONCE because of the pump’s unreliable Bluetooth connection. It frequently disconnects, and even when it appears connected, the app still prompts me to reconnect. In short, the Bluetooth connectivity is very poor!
Additionally, I’ve noticed several “total duration” times listed in the app’s “review” tab that predate my ownership of the pump, which is quite odd and confusing.
Overall, the app has great potential, so I hope Lansinoh addresses these issues soon.

No Customization, Frequent Notifications
I’m an exclusive pumper and it’s annoying that i can’t remove breast feeding from the Home Screen on the app. I get notifications almost every hour that a pump session has ended and the pump has disconnected. Had to turn off notifications from the app, which makes the function of setting a reminder for my next pump session pointless. Would also be nice if i could track my milk inventory with the app.
