About
Ever connected to your digital mixer's Wi-Fi and lost internet, because your device insists on sending traffic out through a Wi-Fi network that has none?
LanSplit fixes this with a single switch:
- Traffic to the Wi-Fi LAN (mixer, stage box, audio gear) → stays on Wi-Fi
- All internet (LINE, YouTube, streaming, video calls) → goes out via mobile data
- No SIM or mobile data off → internet falls back to Wi-Fi automatically
Both paths work at the same time. No switching networks, no manual IP setup, no jailbreak.
LanSplit Link — share internet with a tablet that has no SIM
Install LanSplit on both devices. The phone with a SIM taps "Share" and gets a QR plus a short 8-character code. The tablet taps "Link" and scans the QR — or just types the code, and the app finds the sharing phone on the network automatically. The tablet instantly gets the phone's mobile internet over the same mixer Wi-Fi, while still controlling the console. The pairing code stays the same, so you pair once. A clear status line tells you when internet is actually working.
Who it's for
- Sound engineers controlling digital mixing consoles from iPhone/iPad
- Event crews who must join equipment Wi-Fi while staying online
- Anyone who needs to connect to a Wi-Fi network without internet, but stay online via SIM
How it works
LanSplit creates a local split tunnel inside your device and picks the route for each connection itself — so it behaves identically on every device, regardless of the system's network preferences.
Privacy
- No external server — your traffic never passes through anyone's machine but the normal destination
- Nothing collected, logged, or shared
- No ads, no analytics, no account required
Note: LanSplit is not a VPN service for changing your IP, hiding your identity, or accessing geo-restricted content. It is a device-local network routing tool. Internet sharing (LanSplit Link) works only between devices running the app on the same Wi-Fi network, paired with a local code — it is not a public hotspot.
