Absolutely amazing piece of software for a very niche audience. SLDP is a game changer for trying to sync media across different players, connected at different mediums, within a home.

Awful
This company screwed its customers by taking a free application and then making it a monthly fee. They jumped from the best option, to the absolute worst option. I don’t mind if they make this app a one time purchase, I’d even be willing to spend $100 on it. But I’m not paying a monthly fee just to possess an app. They don’t provide any monthly service, you have to provide your own details into the app. So they are literally collecting free money every month.

Good functionality but paywalled
The app works very well, however it is frustrating that the features are paywalled. As I recall you used to only have to pay for advanced features, now even basic streaming is limited to 5 minutes, and there is no one-off purchase option - you HAVE to subscribe on a rolling monthly basis. These features are worth maybe £15 one off, not £120 a year.

Terrible
Out of nowhere, there is a limit on only streaming a video for five minutes. Please do not update to the latest version. This app has gone downhill very badly.

Спасибо за программу. Очень выручает. Использую для контрольного монитора для президиума на конференциях. Ставлю ipad и по srt принимаю с vmix картинку с презентацией, что бы в президиуме не крутили головой на экран, когда докладчик ведет презентацию. Единственная просьба - плеер отказывается принимать поток, если нет интернета. При попытке принять поток локалке без интернета пишет No internet connection. Он стучится на какой то внешний сервер. Благо в ipad есть сотовый модуль, приходиться включать сотовую связь, что бы работало. Но интернет есть не везде. Хотелось бы, что бы работало даже в закрытых сетях. Спасибо, Владимир.

Nice app to play adaptive streams. Also works for audio only stream.

This is the best app for SRT playback on iOS and tvOS. Simple and super handy for those who work with IP video contribution protocols.

Not working on Apple TV
Was working great until a new update. Now every time I click on a stream it takes me to the edit screen instead of playing. No way to play streams on Apple TV!

AAC v2 doesn’t decode correctly.

Overall Good but Annoying Issue
Hi there! I use this app for production work that I do with live streaming recordings. Overall the app works nicely but can we PLEASE fix the function where if I even deviate from the app to look at a notification the app will close the stream I’m on and there’s no way for me to get back to it unless I fully go back and click the link shared by my team to redirect me. It’s SUPER annoying to have to do this every time I leave the app or do something as simple as turning off my alarm on my phone. It messes with workflow and is just a hassle over all.

Simple and works well
Great app which played an srt stream from colorfront server.
One of the App Store’s most useful downloads.
This is a great tool to incorporate consumer end technology within an SRT, or really any live streaming, workflow. Absolutely 5/5, especially with Larix’s “Grove” information handling.

Minor Feature request for SRT: when the connection drops (such as when changing encoder settings), have the player stay “in” and keep trying to connect (like how VLC on desktop behaves) so the stream can seamlessly resume with the new encoder profile. This is a minor request, and the only suggestion I can think of!
