Terrible

This company screwed its customers by taking a free application and then making it a monthly fee. They jumped from the best option, to the absolute worst option. I don’t mind if they make this app a one time purchase, I’d even be willing to spend $100 on it. But I’m not paying a monthly fee just to possess an app. They don’t provide any monthly service, you have to provide your own details into the app. So they are literally collecting free money every month.

iPad could not push a full screen

This is a great app. We love it. Only one issue.iPhone could push a full screen , but ipad not. Thanks a lot.

Cannot setup.

The apple video explaining how to set this up is private and cannot be viewed. The video showing the button to stream does not explain how to make that button appear and the button never shows up. Cannot start stream because of this.

Не работает

Не получается передать видео по Srt с iOS устройства. В то время как с Андройд все работает. Broadcaster с iOS подружился, а скринкастер не хочет.

No sound with SRT?

Picture looks good when I stream to castr But there is no sound. I can use RTMP on other apps and I have sound

Unfortunately iOS doesn't allow getting apps' audio, check Q23 in our FAQ https://softvelum.com/larix/faq/#q23

audio error

there is audio drop every second , please fix it.

It takes a little while to figure out how it works, but after configuring it correctly its the best streaming application available for rtmp streaming. Gg to the developers!

Cannot connect

I was looking forward to this program after using Larix broadcaster on OBS. Unfortunately the streamcaster just would not recognize obs when I try to connect. Keeps telling me it fails to connect.

Please check your connections settings, it should work exactly the same as in Broadcaster.

How to start stream

Go to settings in ur iOS mobile or iPad then control center
In there make sure screen recorder is in the shortcut.if not add to the shortcut panel by pressing plus sign.

Then drop down the shortcut panel in your device..then long press the screen recorder icon (icon looks like concentric circles)
It will show the list of apps capable of screen sharing…

Then select larix screencaster …after selecting..it shows ‘start broadcast’..that’s it…u can also enable mic if u need.

Doesn’t work, support videos show a different version

Apples support video has been privated. The one that the app shows has a totally different UI that allows them to start a stream. This app doesn’t have any option to start a screencast.

We'll try to update our video. Anyway, the screencasting needs to be started from iOS, not from our app.

Working for iOS?

I installed and configured the app, but it doesn’t give me a start streaming option.

Не работает

iPad Air не работает скринкастер. Ни ртмп ни срт никак нет коннекта. В отличие от броадкастера где все отлично.

Brilliant and simple to use app, works perfectly for my use case, which is streaming my phone’s screen to an RTMP server. Haven’t had a single problem at all so far. Very impressed.

Incompatible with iOS 13

This app does not work on iOS 13.1, iPad Mini 2019. All it gave was cannot start invalid broadcast session

Мы добавили нужные ссылки по использованию скринкастинга в iOS на ту страницу https://softvelum.com/larix/docs/ и кроме того, в ближайшей версии ссылка на настройку будет внутри приложения. В целом, в iOS идёт системное управление съемкой экрана, и в документации раза раз даны инструкции о том, как этим воспользоваться.
