About

One scout. An entire swarm. Survive ten minutes, then bring down the guardian. Last Scout is an action game built for one thumb, or a controller. Drag anywhere to move, tap Dash to slip through an attack, and let your weapons fire on their own. Every level-up pauses the fight and offers three upgrades. Pick well: by minute eight, hundreds of machines are closing in, and the build you made is all that stands between you and the scrap heap. BUILD SOMETHING UNSTOPPABLE - Nine weapon systems: plasma carbine, orbit saws, chain lightning, gravity grenades, wingman drones, trail mines, pocket turrets, cryo fields and the repulsor pulse - 26 upgrades that change how you fight, not just how hard you hit - Four overdrives: max a weapon, find its catalyst, and bring the Prism Lance, Halo Engine, Tempest Network or Event Horizon online MOVEMENT IS THE SKILL - Twelve kinds of machine, each with its own silhouette. The deadly ones warn you: chargers lock on before they launch, bombers mark their blast, snipers draw their line - Shield emitters protect their allies, so break the link or change targets - Guardian slams, bomber blasts and sniper shots mark their danger zone before they land. If you can read it, you can dodge it THE ARENA IS A WEAPON - Trap levels hand you the district's machinery: lead the swarm down a press bed, across a charged walkway or onto a launch deck, then step on the plate - Knock machines off the edge, lure them under crushers, blow up explosive barrels in the crowd, and send your lightning through conductive pools - Deeper levels change shape as the run goes on: bridges dock, coolant floods the bays, floors fall away - Sixteen levels across four districts, from the salvage decks of the Outer Belt to the collapsing well of the Restricted Sector. Beat a guardian to open the way deeper FOUR GUARDIANS Reach 10:00 and the district's guardian arrives. The Iron Warden, the Surge Engine, the Skybreaker and the Null Sovereign each teach their attacks one at a time before they combine them. FOUR CREW - Nova, plasma scout: precise and fast - Mako, scrap engineer: orbit saws and extra health - Iris, storm hacker: chain lightning, quick and fragile - Brink, heavy salvager: explosive charges and huge knockback Nova comes with the game; Mako, Iris and Brink sign on with the Full Contract. KEEP WHAT YOU EARN - Every shift recovers salvage. Spend it in the Workshop on permanent upgrades, or to bring new crew aboard - Achievements, lifetime records, and an Archive of the blueprints you've found and every overdrive recipe MADE FOR PHONES - Free to start, with no ads: the Outer Belt's four levels and Nova. One purchase, the Full Contract, opens the other three districts and the rest of the crew. Played 1.0? It's all yours already - Plays fully offline, with no account - Play with a game controller: Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and MFi controllers, or a clip-on like Backbone or Kishi. Every screen works with it, menus included - Portrait or landscape: turn the phone, or hold the screen either way in Settings - Runs save automatically: take a call, come back, and resume your shift - A guided training bay teaches the basics in about a minute - Left-handed layout, reduced motion, high contrast, and separate sound, music and haptics settings - Battery mode for longer sessions

What's New in Last Scout

1.2.0

October 10, 2026

- Play with a game controller: Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and MFi controllers, and clip-ons like Backbone and Kishi. The whole game works with it, menus included, with rumble and your controller's own buttons on screen. A keyboard works too. - Landscape: turn your phone sideways, or choose Auto, Portrait or Landscape in Settings > Screen. - Level-up cards now show the rank they add, so a card for an upgrade's last rank no longer looks maxed.
