Worth it
The website and app is amazing , I’ve been scrobbling for a few years now , better than statsfm and airbuds ( as airbuds has a massive paywall ) . Last fm pro is worth it if you wanna change your user , just make sure to cancel if you don’t want it to pay automatically the next month 👀
App is fine

OK app
nice app, tracks music nicely, but it breaks every other day and doesn’t submit my scrobbles on apple music. too many server issues, it’s super annoying. nice concept though. fix the constant issues please!!

Last FM transformed my music collection
I started scrobbling my digital music listening in March 2005 at a time when I had real issues with my music collection. I had no idea of how to find new music and had a really limited number of musicians and bands whose music I liked. Then I somehow discovered Audioscrobbler (which then became last.fm) and everything changed. Rapidly.
It builds a database of what you listen to, and offers ideas of other artists you might like. And it works. Through last.fm I have discovered hundreds of artists that I actively support, and I have listened to thousands of artists in the 21 years I’ve been scrobbling.
There are many ‘scrobblers’ and the iOS version is the least useful, as it cannot scrobble Apple Music, and many digital music platforms have last.fm integration built in. Spotify and Sonos both have this integration. The service though is still incredible and useful for anyone looking for a broader listening experience.
Oh, and as for the BTS debacle. I am glad they have thrown their toys out of the pram a d left. Good riddance.

Not Very Good at Tracking
It keeps giving me errors and stops counting. I kept having to uninstall and install. Don’t use. It will get you upset because it does do what it’s supposed to do.
A Classic While Underfunded
This is really a well designed app. It's stuck in 2010 and it still works. You can make it work just fine but it has quirks. That's very impressive these days. Incredible work to the people who made that happen and the one intern who is still carrying the flag over there. ✊

Great official app for scrobbling - works perfectly with my phone to scrobble plays onto my last.rm account
Extremely inaccurate
The results are so inaccurate it’s almost malicious considering I paid 5 USD to see my monthly results. Including songs and artists in my top stats I never heard of. L company definitely avoid
Will not count my scrobbles
Every single day this app deletes my scrobbles for hours at a time as well as single tracks randomly throughout the day. Obviously, listening to music on an app I’ve paid for is considered bot behavior. I’ve deleted the app and will never come back to it.
Where’s the accountability?
Not properly counting the streams of an artist simply because you can’t phantom the idea of actual fans listening to their music is irresponsible and unprofessional. Also last update was 3 years ago? Can’t even run the app properly smh
personal experience
from my experience with last fm for years, it used to work fine for a while but it just crushes afterwards and honestly it makes tracking my scrobbles so hard and tiring like I'm done, don't ever try it.

Doesn’t do as promised
The entire purpose of the app is to count your song listening habits. They were recently exposed for picking and choosing whether to count certain songs. So it doesn’t do the one thing it is meant to do. If I could give it negative stars I would.
