It simply displays the passage of time in a visible form based on the values you enter.

This update quietly improves accuracy and readability. • The way remaining days are counted is now consistent between the Home screen and Insights, so the number no longer differs by up to a day. • Fixed a one-hour shift in the time breakdown for regions that use daylight saving time, in both the app and the widget. • On your birthday, "Next birthday" now shows as Today. • Improved text contrast and made buttons easier to tap, and the layout now holds up on small screens and at larger text sizes. • Refined VoiceOver support and added a quiet wordmark to the launch screen. Lastgrain still does not predict or judge. As before, it only makes time visible based on the values you enter.
