Later is a voice-first reminder app built for the moments when you can't look at your phone — especially in the car. Say one ordinary sentence, the way you'd say it to a person, and Later works out what you meant and when you meant it, saves it before the words have finished, and gets out of the way. No unlocking your phone, no typing, no digging through a list — just talk, and Later remembers. HOW IT WORKS Speak naturally: "Remind me to call the plumber tomorrow morning." "Put the bins out tonight." "Pick up milk when I leave work." Later's parser understands ordinary phrasing — times, dates, places, and the vague words people actually use — entirely on your device. Nothing you say is sent to a server to be understood. WHAT LATER UNDERSTANDS • Explicit times and dates — "at 5", "next Tuesday", "the 28th of March" • Relative phrases — "in 20 minutes", "in a fortnight" • Vague words, made yours — "tonight", "later", "soon" and "in a bit" all resolve to real times, and you can teach Later exactly what each one means to you, or add your own phrases entirely ("after the school run" can mean 3:30pm, if that's what you actually say) • Places — "when I get home", "when I leave work", or anywhere else you name • Recurrence — "every Tuesday at 8", "every weekday", "every month" • Actions — say "call Dave" or "text Sarah" and the reminder arrives with a one-tap Call or Message button already attached BUILT FOR DRIVING, NOT JUST TOLERATING IT • CarPlay — speak a reminder from the car's own screen, no phone needed • "When I park" — fires the moment you switch the engine off, so the thought lands exactly when you can act on it • Home and Work arrival triggers — "call Mum when I get home" does exactly that • Confirmations are spoken back to you, so nothing needs reading while you drive NEVER LOSES A THOUGHT Every reminder is saved before any confirmation appears — if your phone died mid-sentence, the reminder would already be safe. Anything Later isn't sure about is flagged for a one-tap fix, never dropped. Repeating reminders roll forward instead of disappearing, gentle follow-ups nudge you if something's still outstanding, and everything you complete stays logged so nothing quietly falls through.
