problem

Does not work with newer versions of iPhone.

Very useful!

I am a physics instructor at a junior college and I refer to this app often when I am writing my lectures or homework examples.

Non-Functional Abandonware

This app has clearly been abandoned by the developer and does not work on my iPad with the latest version of iOS. The main screen (as shown in the first preview screen above) is effectively β€œbricked” and does not respond to user input, i.e., tapping on an item, or anywhere on the screen for that matter, has no effect.

Works on iPhone not iPad

This app is useless on an iPad, but still works under iOS 13 on an iPhone. Content appears useful.

Abandoned

Does not work on latest iPadOS. Was nice while it was available.

Does not work

Six years after its last update, this app does not work under iOS 13 with an iPad Pro. Seems to have been abandoned.

Freezes

The app freezes on the new iPad, if you open it and switch to another app and come back it won’t respond.

Useful, but obnoxious ad-banner at bottom

This a really useful, easy-to-use reference. A handy companion for LaTex editors lacking a symbolic palette for equation construction.

Its near-fatal flaw is that it streams ad banners. Not only is this obnoxious, it raises concerns about safety/security about its use.

Commands not accuraze for amsmath

This app is a super idea, but lacks many commands and some of which it has are not accurate

Could have used this yesterday!

There are lots of LaTeX lists out there, but not enough for making bullet lists or inserting images. This app has both. I spent hours trying to figure out how to get a PNG image in my slides yesterday; having this would have made that a lot easier.

Ok

It seems the average rating is higher here, but for free iPhone LaTeX help apps I find myself going to Detexify more often than this app.

Nice, but it's all low res

An excellent app, but the icon and all symbols are in low resolution and look a bit jagged on a retina display. If that was fixed, it would be just about perfect.

Thank you!

This is my first interaction with latex and this app is just what I needed. Looking forward for the updates!

Nice useful app

Now if it would just write my papers for me :)

Great app!

I have been wanting to use latex to write up equations for a while, but even as a computer science guy, latex has been hard to get used to. This program is exactly what I needed to help me sort things out. Thanks to the developer!

Excellent Pocket Reference

Exactly what it needs to be β€” a good, handy reference for symbols in TeX (with some formatting thrown in a well).

Great pocket reference

Extensive and great for symbols while not being bloated. A bit of formatting as well, which is good, becuase I don't want to read a giant manual on my phone.

Great Little App

When I downloaded version 1.0, I gave it 4 stars because it was a great app, but lacking in a few areas. The creator of the app however, has responded to those issues and added more features, making this a must have for LaTeX users that tend to forget the exact syntax (as I often do).

It's like unix tools..

It does one thing and does that thing very well.

Cheers!

Good for characters, not formatting

This is a great app for characters, and well worth the space on my iPhone for that. I hope that a future update includes formatting references as well. That would push this to five stars in my book.
