Amazing

This is such an amazing tool. I’m so happy I found this. I’ve been struggling to keep up with CC Challenge Grammar/Latin vocab with my four kids. This app will be so helpful. I can have my student use the flash cards and I can check to see how she’s doing. Thank you so much for creating this

Not bad but spotty

A language learning tool should be perfect at least in word translations. This one isn’t bad but definitely not perfect. Translations for tenses are often wrong (Latin first person versus Ingush infinitive). And some translations are flat out wrong. Try “mare” for which the only reasonable translation is “sea” but the app translates as a verb

Finally!

It’s great to see someone build an app for Henle that doesn’t charge through the nose and makes the app smooth and look great. I’ve tried a few other apps, and was disappointed by the quality since I had to pay so much. My only complaint is that in Quiz mode, the image is kind of too big. Otherwise, great features, great quality!

We're sorry you haven't been able to use LatinOpus yet and appreciate your review. Although your device is having issues, we want to note that LatinOpus does work for most iPhones & iPads currently. We have completed a potential fix and submitted it to the AppStore for update. It is in review now and may take a few days to become available. LatinOpus does work well on most iPhones already but it requires the device to have enough available memory and processing power to run without crashing. It has a large database for the 40+ vocab chapters! Depending on the age of the device and the available memory, it may have issues for these reasons. Unfortunately, when we sought to make LatinOpus available for the iPad + the iPhone per user requests, Apple would not allow us to set the minimum processing chip requirement for the iPhone specifically if we provided the app to both devices (iPad & iPhone). This means some older iPhones or newer iPhones without enough RAM or processor speed may experience the issues described. We apologize for your inconvenience and hope the latest update will make it work. If it doesn't fix the issues for you, please contact our support by email so we can refund your purchase. Good for review-doesn’t work right on iPhone 6s

Got this for my kids who take Henle Latin. I like it better than quizlet but on my phone I can’t scroll to choose my unit/level. It does work on the iPad but I was a bit disappointed I can’t review on my phone.
Otherwise, just what I was looking for. Simple, and can review without internet connectivity.
