Needs a zoom option
The app works pretty well if you want to know what a specific symbol means. The worst part for me is that it has a scanner that never works because it lacks a zoom function and cannot read far away symbols. Everything has to be found manually despite the advertised feature. I’d be glad to change my review to 5 stars if that feature was fixed and fully functional.

Oh how I love this app, and it's beautiful design and color scheme — but it's unusable. The camera won't auto-focus at the appropriate distance.
Unfortunately, it looks like development was abandoned a long time ago. Def a shame, this was a gem.

Doesn’t work on latest models of iPhone
Doesnt use correct camera for scanning, & screen doesn’t format correctly for displaying information. Not updated since 2015. Not good enough. Shouldn’t be for sale on the App Store.
Crappy App
Buggy, misspelled , letters overlap. This app is not worth $.99. Reporting to apple do not buy.

Really loved this app when I first paid for this app (7/8 years). Over the years you do learn symbols but ever so often you need it again. Right now it’s letterboxed and the formatting is all broken in the app making it slightly unusable. Would love an update to use in all its beauty again!
Does not focus on the labels
While the regular camera can focus on things up close, this is only focusing at a distance and then doesn’t pick up the labels. No clear way to contact support.
Needs an update for newer phones
Good app, and I love the design. Although I’m sure it’ll look great on an iPhone SE it’s not been modified for the screen dimensions of anything with a notch/Face ID.
Also, there are other lenses on my phone that would enable the camera to focus better on the symbols. The app seems to like a close distance, but the default lens gets blurry at that range. This hampers it’s ability to scan the label.

Theses gents have nailed the laundry symbol issues.
Camera works well and shows the images it can detect even when upside down.
And if the camera can’t pick up the image, label faded then they produced a beautiful interface to select the symbols and the app will advise.
My one worry when buying was if the app would work for my region Europe- which it does.

Simplify
Need to offer the ability to switch from C to F or better yet just use Cold, Warm, or Hot for washing and drying temps.

Does what's on the label
So many apps try and do a million things, but this one doesn't. It does ONE thing and does it in a way that makes sense.
Mainly a symbol decoder
Handy for decoding all the laundry symbols everybody.sees bub only the laundry mat knows how to read. Scan with your camera and it decides them. A far simpke app, I'd like to see more handy things added like guidance to when you use hot or cold water. Information on different types of detergents. How remove certain types of stand.

I really like this app. Only issue I can identify is that it would be better if, after the icons are recognised that it goes into the next screen automatically.

Two flaws
Decent app with 2 flaws:
It has a hard time focusing the camera. And I continually tap on the screen, expecting it to focus where I tapped, but instead it takes me to the symbols page. And 2nd, it would be nice if it converted the temperatures to Fahrenheit for Americans. I can't remember if 30 or 40 degrees is warm or hot, and I hate having to convert manually each time.
