Needs update
This app worked great for the last few years.
I had to upgrade my phone to a new one on iOS 15.5, now the app crashes after 6 seconds.
Old phone was iOS 14.7
I keep emailing LaView, they don’t seem to understand the ask for an app update.
I guess it’s time to find a different brand of camera system?

App is worthless!
After iOS updates my app would just close out now it won’t even work at all! Nice to check on your place when your on vacation or away but guess not anymore. Very dissatisfied. Doesn’t offer any updates
Not working after up date to IOS15.1
Only work 10 second then app closed by itself after update to IOS15.1, wish they would have new USA to e to fix this problem

As other more recent reviews have said it’s useless now.
First few years I had this product it worked fine, they’ve since moved to a more cloud based service with a monthly charge and left older customers with older models in the cold by now updating the app in 5 years.
On IOS the app still allows remote viewing off of wifi, but playback is limited to roughly 30 seconds before the app crashes.

Can no longer view unless connected to wifi
App use to work great using Data but since iOS update it can only connect via Wi-Fi which renders the camera pretty much useless. Contacted the company and they refuse to respond. They have not updated the app in years so it no longer works with recent iOS.

This is horrible. I’ll never buy LaView system again.
They change App...
App changed so now the system won’t work. They seem to want to push you towards an account/cloud service. I just want to be able to access my system with my phone. Their customer support is horrendous as well. This use to be a good system.
Return it or you will regret later.
After 2 years of using Camera seem to be fine, DVR start to reset sometimes for no reason. The software and remote viewer app is horrible. Customer service as well. If you use android device the app no longer support on android platform. Also the app was removed from the Google playstore. And it will be remove soon in Apple App Store for sure. No one take care about their product. Come on !!! no any update the app last 3 years, you think Apple will ignore it. No! they will remove it as google do if they don’t update the app to work better with iOS device. I sent 3 emails no reply. Calling to their customer service they put me hold for 30’ and hang up. Before you use or download this app please read my review and return it immediately. Lorex, Swann, Qsee... still better than this, as least they take care their product doesn’t matter it’s old or brand new . Don’t waste your money in this junk.

Does not work on ios 13.2!!!
Worked fine before i updated to ios 13.2. Now the app will immediately close when trying to open. Have tried restarting iPhone and reinstalled the app but no success. Pretty upset

Can’t remote view on cellular data anymore. Not sure what they did. Can only connect over WiFi only. Need to fix whatever you did. I have a iPhone not sure if androids phones are effected!!
Worst camera app ever
I have installed several different camera systems, and this app is the worst camera app I have ever used. Clumsy and not user friendly. It needs a major update. This app is nearly unusable. Every time you open the app you have to select all 16 cameras to view again. Can't save the settings. Tech support doesn't answer the phone so don't even bother calling them. I could go on and on about the problems but there are too many.

Terrible app. Nearly unusable.
This app is very slow and constantly freezes when viewing over cellular network. It's only slightly better over wifi. App needs updated. Till then find a third party app to use with your system.
Needs some work
It's nice to be able to monitor from my phone. The fast forward feature during playback does not work on iphone.
Updates not working
The latest version is not letting me view my cameras live on my iPhone needs to get fixed
