Pilot app is garbage
Have been using LAVU for 7 years. This is a useless piece of garbage that doesn’t show correct data. Don’t waste your time, just link to the backend.
I like the app but not logging in.
It takes just as much time as simply going to the back office. The info is useful and relevant but just not practical if it isn’t any different than using the online tools.
Lavu Pilot original was better
Yes Pilot 2.0 has added some features but it took away necessary viewing abilities. I can no longer look at a given work day it blocks everything into 24hr increments. So if business runs past midnight it pushes data into next business day instead of combining it with that days business figures. So Friday nights numbers from midnight to 2am roll into Saturday and Saturday into Sunday and so on. Showing what could have been a busy night inflating gross sales of what could be a slow day. To avoid you need to run sales by the hour and do some adding and subtracting but at that point why not just open the admin dashboard. Killed the ease it was supposed to provide. Loved the original Pilot but no longer works with newest iPhone or IOS.

Read the reviews and take note that Lavu is doing nothing about the repeated issues. Big red flag. Should never have switched from square. App won’t refresh up-to-sales. You have to log out and back in to get new sales numbers. Completely worthless and embarrassing.

I have been using the pilot app since it was originally release. I love that I can remotely view my restaurant while on the go. The newest version has even more features and is very easy to navigate and understand. I wish I had 4 hands so I could give it 4 thumbs up.
Real time labor = Real value
Lavu continues to provide my business value. With the pilot app I’m able to see all the key metrics that matter to my business. My favorite part is the real time labor reporting that allows me to see who is clocked in and what my Sales to labor expense ratio.

Limited limited info
Lavu pilot will only give you your sales and labor on Pilot. You have to do some tedious work in the back office to see important factors not shown on Pilot such as tips and time range options to view sales at a certain time period. It also only gives you your top ten sellers for the date selected and does not give your daily breakdown of items sold.

Really need to enter login and password every time? That’s silly.

Doesn’t work for custom date range
App needs to be fixed so you can save the login. Also choosing. Custom date range does not work or load.

Lavu pilot is awesome when it works rarely
Just updated it now my passwords don’t work. Takes forever for the app to pull up numbers. Might as well just go on safari or chrome to go on the backend and not bother with the pilot program.

I’m in absolute shock that a company like Lavu will even think of having a unreliable and useless app.
Bring the old app back!!

Not better for me
Having to log in every time I open the app is very unpractical. Had to go back to looking at the reports on safari at least I can keep the login saved there.
Super groups are not shown broken down as they did in the previous app that's does not work anymore.
Reports are nicer and more complex. But not really helpful for a quick check.

everything works great, but it can be even better if they add finger sensor to get on the app instead of filling the username and password every time you use the app

Works great. Would like the option of saving login info or using Touch ID to avoid entering login info each time.
