This app does exactly what it’s designed to do. No buying into something or logging into something or whatever BS people can think of. I’ve used it for years and it has helped me remember, and also predict, what to do for the future - saving me time and money - taking the guess work out!

Best app for lawn care
This lawn care application is the best I've ever used. Not only does it excel in the amount of information that I can track but it does a good job of giving me information that I need to fine tune my lawn care routines. That is important as I strive to work "smarter not harder". The app developer is also very responsive and very quick to respond to suggested improvements with rapid and timely updates.

All Useful Features Now Behind a Paywall of $35/month!! (Used to be free and basic)
I use to love this app. You could log in for you wanted to track and it was open and agnostic to which products were used.
Now nearly every useful piece of information you want to track are locked behind a $35/month paywall!! What!? That costs more than the going rate for the most powerful AI agents - I think someone is very unaware of the competition.
It’s unfortunate because the simple, basic version that this app used to be was far more useful than it is now. I’m left with no choice except to drop using it altogether.

It’s actually $35 a year, not month.
Don’t bother
This app used to be basic in function but it worked and it was free so I liked it. However, they updated the app to make most basic functions a subscription service that’s way overpriced. Not only is it overpriced but it is buggy to the point of not being usable. Don’t bother with it, you will be disappointed.

Easy to use and keep organized
Love this app to remember when i last fertilized and to see how often i cut. Keeps me on track.
New update ruins app
This app was just about perfect before the most recent update. It had everything someone who cared enough to keep a journal for their lawn needed without all the extra bloat. Latest update added all that bloat into and added a subscription to access all of your previous data (that is stored in your device)

Not a great app. Don’t care for notifications as you can’t change time of notification nor can you add more than one date for a notification. Also notifications do not clear so there always shows notifications when there are none.
Cannot search the journal for entries or filter the entries. And the calendar does not let you drop into other years. You have to skip thru each month to get to previous or next year.

Broken
It’s a bit quirky in general and notifications are completely broken. Notifications get scrambled, create duplicates when trying to edit and can’t be dismissed. I’m now just using Apple Reminders to create notifications and Apple Notes to keep my journal. Lawn Care Journal app is great in concept, but not in practice as-is.

I was going to spend a bunch of time developing my own lawn care app, until I found Lawn Care Journal. So far, it is checking a lot of boxes for me!! Kudos to the dev for providing a very powerful and completely free app!! 🍻🍻
