Does not reflect how the test is structured
The LCSW test (which I took and passed) is mostly about social work: identifying immediate needs with questions like “what is the FIRST thing the social worker should do?”; determining the most germane assessment tools like “in this situation what is the BEST way to determine x?”; etc. There is no need to know the specific DSM-5 and ICD-10 codes. You’re more likely to need to know how managed care works or the difference between supportive housing and residential treatment than about cross-cutting measures. This app made me feel like I was completely unprepared because I hadn’t memorized a codes for medication induced akathisia and I wasted time trying to correct that. You’re better served getting flash cards off of Brainscape and shelling out some cash for an ASWB practice test.

Good questions and practice, however
It's good at giving drills, it has a lot of more medically oriented questions about pharmaceuticals for example, I'm not sure our all that relevant to the LCSW exam, but hey I haven't taken it. I am having a problem and I don't know how else to reach the designer so here's my complaint: I bought the professional version when I first got the app, and recently when I updated, it charged me $11.99 a second time. Can I get a refund on that? I'm happy to re-write this review if that's possible.

It is a very subject oriented app, sticks to its topics and very comprehesive it and covers all the aspects of it.

Terrible!!!
This is one of the worst LCSW test prep apps! Many of the questions don't even make sense! Either they were not created by a human or they were created by an illiterate one. Many of the questions are not test relevant.
There's no reason for such carelessness when this app is taken serious by potential exam takers.

Don't waste your memory no money
Paid for the upgrade to get all the questions but never got them opened up for me. Still have the same old questions and being asked to pay for "an upgrade" if I want additional questions. Plus the app crashes A LOT!

I can't say how I like the app because I can't even open it. It just says it's loading at first and I'm kicked out of it.

Pretty bad
This is not very helpful, and it seems to have a lot of glitches. The flash cards seem to be the only thing I have access to without paying money. The flash cards are multiple choice for the most part. However, there are never choices from you to pick from. It asks the question without the multiple choice answers. You can click for the answer, but have no idea what the other choices may have been. Some questions are also very broad. One question asked what a common counseling approach is used in a counseling setting. There are so many answers to that without knowing what type of counseling you're treating the client for. Please work on this. I'd love to get something to actually be able to study from.

No good
I'm getting ready to take my LCSW exam & this is geared more towards medical terminology. I read the most recent review in august where they updated their questions to DSM V. However they still for medical.

Way better than other LCSW prep apps. Shows your Weak points so you can improve.

It was missing DSM 5 questions but today when I opened app it received the new DSM 5 questions update. Thank you.
Irrelevant questions
Just went through a few questions and many are on medical issues that seem totally irrelevant. Also, the flash cards are not helpful.
Would not recommend
Pretty sure the positive reviews were written by the person who designed the app because I can't imagine someone who has actually taken the master's level test would find this helpful. Typos aside, the questions regarding so much medical knowledge are not needed as well as having terrible answers for some of the questions. I only made it through about 15 questions before I realized this was wasting my time.

Its a nice app. I dowloaded and study the app. I remember as far as its a nice app and helpful to me. To aquire knowlsdge it ia essential I recomend to you to use it.
