New updste
The new update is a disaster. The ads are frustrating, and even the search function has changed. Now, if you want to find the meaning of a word like "rig," you have to scroll through a long list of hundreds of words to locate it. This update is just terrible.
A slight problem
I absolutely love this dictionary for its very simple and yet thorough explanation, given on different words and phrases and their use in different sentences. There’s one problem I have with the latest version on my new phone and I’m not sure if it’s related to my phone or there’s a problem about the new version of the app. Every time I search a word on the app and then go back on home screen or other apps then open the app again(no previous quitting the app), my search is gone and I should do the search again. I’d be thankful if you could check whether it’s happening to you too or not.

DARK MODE
the new feature which had been added a few days ago is so buggy
when tour dark mode is on, you cannot see what word you are searching

Night mode
It would be nice if add night mode and also if add search box even in the word meaning panel for search more quickly

It would be better if we could creat files for related bookmarks.

Fantastic Word bank
Friendly look format, clearly pronunciation between UK and US. Good examples and synonyms to make you easy understanding and know how to use the word exactly. Great design! Awesome I do love it so much, I check every single word daily to improve and enlarge my English vocabulary and also good practice in sentences. Only a little thing disappointed is that it will pause when I check my remark vocabulary over few minutes, I need to get out and in again.

Truly Practical and Useful
Good dictionaries are hard to come by.
Finding a dictionary with understandable language is a challenge sometimes. Most dictionaries offer definitions with more misunderstood words in the definition of the word you’re trying to clear.
This isn’t a very workable system.
This dictionary truly has language which is easily communicated and has origins of the word so that you can truly understand the full definition of every word.
The only thing they should improve on is the ability to not have ads and adding more idioms.

I can’t use it after I change my new iPhone
I like Longman Dictionary very much. You can see many words with same meaning and homophones,etc. I paid about $20 to download this apps. After I got my new iPhone, I have to pay again to download same apps. I can’t find phone number or email where I can reach them to talk about this problem .
Based on ads
Every time I open the app, an ad grabs the full screen. And after that, the cursor and letters disappear from the search field... just because the ad...
So practical
I’ve been using this since i started learning english and i’ve got this dictionary on all of my devices,words definitions are short and so comprehensible.I love it!👌🏻
Great Dictionary.
Longman dictionary is great for many reasons, but I believe it needs few modifications for improvement. it has two different form of pronunciations for American English and British English. when you search a word, it shows you a lot of information about the word, such as, word family, IPA, the stress of the word, different meanings, example for each meaning, the word is an academic word or not, how many times it has been used in a sentence, and if it is a top 2 or 3 thousand written words, etc.
The problem is that it does not have an application for the mac book. The other problem is that it has the option to translate English to Japanese, Korean, and Spanish, but not to Farsi. There are many Persians living in the United States and it could be very useful to them. I am very pleased, and I highly recommend it.

A good app, but bookmarks and history do not work properly
The Longman Dictionary is very good dictionary in my opinion. It always explains new words in an easy way to understand.
The search function works pretty well, but the other functions such as bookmarks and history do not work properly. When I click the bookmarks and history buttons, it only shows a blank page instead of a list of words that I searched or bookmarked.
