Le Energie della Sicilia

Le Energie della Sicilia is an information, education and awareness campaign for citizens on the theme of energy saving, funded by the Sicilian Region under the ERDF Operational Programme Sicily 2014/2020, and in particular Action 11.2.1 "Information and Communication". The aim of the campaign is to increase favourable attitudes towards renewable energy sources and increased energy efficiency, through multimedia communication that reinforces positive feelings and brings about a change in contrary attitudes. By developing a culture of sustainable energy and conscious consumption behaviour through communication that is less technical and more attentive to values and codes shared with the public, to encourage access to information, increasing awareness of the environmental impact caused by energy consumption, stimulating energy-efficient behaviour, while promoting the spread of renewable energy sources and encouraging the rationalisation of energy demand.
