The subscription to LMD doesn’t include the app
I have a subscription to LMD English to access all the recent issues, and the archives. Yet to see the same information via the app, I am expected to pay again. So I’m expected to pay double to use the app and see the same information I have already paid to access via the website. I am a supporter of LMD but I do not think this makes sense.

Perspective building
As an American reader I value this monthly as an outside viewpoint and information source for stories not well covered by domestic media. The presentation format is poor, essentially a photo of each page. But I’m rating on content rather than form.
Excellent articles, but one problem.
Le Monte Diplomatique is a fantastic window on the world. However, I hope in the future the app developers will provide the reader view that so many publications have as an alternative to the traditional view. I find reading increasingly difficult due to poor eyesight. This would help enormously.
Far from impressive
The app is simple, which is fine. But, every issue is just a PDF scan - and not a very good one. You have to zoom in read, and the text quickly becomes soft and pixelated.
If the developers want more people to read the journal, please optimize it for newer iPhones and allow column navigation at a decent resolution.
