About

Your band's songbook on stage: chords, lyrics, sheet music, tab and setlists, with your own songs in any key. LeadSheets puts everything your band plays in one place, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. NEW IN 2.6: TAB Show tab under the notation, or tab only with the rhythm under it, for guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin and any other string instrument. LeadSheets works out the frets from the notes you write: playable positions, open strings where they help, chords within a normal stretch. Move any note to another string with one tap. Slurs show as hammer-ons and pull-offs, with bends, palm mutes, slides and grace notes. Standard and alternate tunings, 4-, 5- and 6-string bass, and a capo. CHORDS & LYRICS Write charts in ChordPro+: one source gives a singer view with chords above the lyrics, a musicians grid with bars and repeats, and a drummer view with cues. Transpose to any key in one tap. Tap a chord to see its diagrams and hear it played. SHEET MUSIC FOR EVERY MUSICIAN Add PDFs, photos or scanned pages and assign each score to a role: bass, drums, lead guitar, horns. Every musician sees only their own part. Annotate with Apple Pencil. Whole pages fit the screen in portrait; charts flow into columns in landscape. THE SCORE EDITOR Write real notation with fast, MuseScore-style keyboard entry, with the on-screen tools, or by hand with Apple Pencil on iPad: • Notes, rests, triplets, ties, slurs, two voices, grace notes, trills, slides and octave lines • Chord symbols anywhere in the bar, lyrics, comments, fingering and section names • Repeats, endings, D.C. and D.S. (also with repeats), Coda and Fine • Drum notation with a full drum kit • Swing feel, from light to hard swing FULL SCORES FOR THE WHOLE BAND All instruments in one score, in groups, with transposing instruments shown in concert or written pitch. Each musician gets their own part, in their own key, with multi-bar rests; the director gets the full score. Print all parts at once, with page turns where the player rests. HEAR IT BACK Play your score with a sound for every instrument, chord accompaniment from held chords to walking bass and bossa nova, and a metronome. One Mixer sets volume, mute and solo for every instrument and chord track. PLAY & PRACTISE Play along with your own music, Apple Music or Spotify. Change the key of your bought songs without changing the tempo, slow them down to practise, and match recordings that aren't tuned to A = 440. LeadSheets can even suggest a song's tempo from its audio. SETLISTS Build setlists with the song count and total duration worked out for you. On stage, swipe or use a Bluetooth page-turn pedal to go from page to page and song to song, or let the setlist play through, each song in its own key. SHARE WITH YOUR BAND Send a whole setlist as one file: songs, chords, PDFs and scores included. Exchange scores with MuseScore, Guitar Pro, Finale, Sibelius and Dorico through MusicXML. Export charts, scores and setlists as PDF. YOURS AND PRIVATE Your songs stay on your device and in your own iCloud. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. LeadSheets runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac. What's New in LeadSheets

2.6.1

October 30, 2026

LeadSheets 2.6.1: import from another file, and fixes. NEW • Import songs and setlists from another LeadSheets file, with their scores, musicians and audio settings. Songs you already have: skip, replace or keep both. FIXES • Shared files open complete on every device: LeadSheets now saves a file as one complete database, so a file downloaded from iCloud no longer misses the latest changes. • Pasting a song from the internet keeps the spaces before the first chord of a line, so the chords stay above the right words. • Bar lines line up again in chord grids with a pushed chord (like F -G). • Singer view shows a pushed chord (like -G) without its dash. • iPad: the file name stays at the top left while a song is open.
