LeafPlaza is a European social ecosystem built on open-source software and the AT Protocol. We start with microblogging, but the vision is bigger: an open, sovereign social layer for Europe with verifiable ownership, infrastructure, and code. You can check who owns us, where your data lives, and what the platform is built on. Company registration is public at the Estonian Business Registry. **Transparent infrastructure** Your social data is hosted on Hostinger, an EU-registered company, in their Frankfurt data centre. Our website and DNS run on Infomaniak in Switzerland, an EFTA-registered company. All account, DNS, and email infrastructure is operated by European providers. **Open-source by design** LeafPlaza is built on Free and Open-Source Software. Our app is based on Bluesky's open-source code with minor modifications. The AT Protocol stack is open. Nothing proprietary controls your data. We disclose known third-party dependencies and publish our progress in replacing them. **No ads. No data sales. Ever.** Our business and monetization strategy is clearly stated on our website. We do not monetize attention or data. Our business model is funded by our users, not advertising or data collection. **AT Protocol interoperability** LeafPlaza runs a full AT Protocol instance. You can interact across the entire AT Protocol network, including Bluesky. Your account travels with you.
