The translations are good but there is no real teaching the language
A good starting point in learning Afrikaans
I found this app to be a very helpful starting point in learning Afrikaans, presenting commonly used phrases, questions, and words. I have only 2 criticisms, 1. the audio pronunciation is only available in a male voice and not both male a female; and 2. The flashcards only feature the Afrikaans word and not an audio pronunciation. However, the program is easy and worthwhile. I think I will master this content then go onto a more in depth language program.
