question for more advanced learners

for an a1 or a2 beginner, i can see this being helpful, buy will you ever develop a sort of placement test for users to take which will place them at their level, for example, b2, and help them from then on instead of teaching them from the begining? i think a lot of foreign children, such as myself, will benefit from this, as we usually understand the langauge already from an a2 or b1 level. besides that thank you for making this, there arent many decent options for children abroad to learn their native tongue.

Thank you, this is really thoughtful feedback, and you've named something I think about often. The current learning path assumes a true beginner, but you're right that many heritage learners already understand a lot from family and would benefit from starting further in. A placement test is on my mind for a future update. For now, the content is focused on the beginner level, but you can browse freely and pick the lessons or recipes that are useful to you - nothing has to be done in order. More advanced content is something I want to add as the app grows. And thank you for what you said about resources for Albanian children abroad. That's the reason this app exists. Unfinished but good

Very helpful but also unfinished and there are alot of lags in the app which I’d like for them to get fixed

Thank you for the honest feedback - the lag was real, and it's the kind of thing that's frustrating when you're mid-lesson. We've shipped a lot since the version you're on, including performance work, so if you update I think you'll notice the difference. And if anything still feels rough, tell us - that's how these get fixed.

Half-baked and unhelpful

I want this app to finally be the one that does a decent job at teaching Albanian, but it’s not. It appears to have been designed by someone with good intentions but little or no foreign language teaching experience. Most of the app is just flashcards and quizzes, without any instruction. The lessons that are provided only include about 40% of the information needed to learn the topic, as though they started writing a lesson and then got bored halfway through.

Resources for Albanian are so hard to come by. It has been a web app until now and the interface is very clean. Extremely useful if you want to learn Albanian since it was made by a native Albanian! Falemenderit
