Many good things, but room for improvement
This app includes many excellent features for learning to read music and play it on the double bass. Oddly, it's sole approach is learning scales, arpeggios, and melodic lines for songs to the complete exclusion of accompaniment patterns for jazz or other performers.
I tried downloading the app onto my second iPad, but have not yet succeeded in getting the "restore purchases" feature to work.

A "must have" app
This app is awesome. It shows you how to play double bass. It has everything you need in a simple format.
Normally you would have sheet music, a finger positioning chart and perhaps recordings of the songs you're trying to learn. This app is far better. It shows you each note on the sheet, each finger position as you play. It even plays each tone if you want. You can speed it up or slow it down as desired.
If you're trying to learn double bass this is money well spent.

Disappointing
Concept is good but it's needs development and more work. The bass sound is a horrible synthesised noise and the app gives you about 5 arpeggios in minor keys before asking for £25 to £30 more for further lessons. I appreciate they need to make money and I would probably have spent more in app if the sound and app wasn't so clunky and immediately demanding of my money
