Great for beginners, maybe a few improvements
Generally a great learning tool. My only suggestion would be that if a valid C++ statement is entered in the exercises/challenges the response should be something like 'correct syntax but not what we're looking for'.
Oversight + Too much paid content
Everything beyond the basics chapter is paid content. Also, people are reporting problems with quotes. The problem is that by default, hitting the quote button writes smart quotes “”, but C++ only accepts true quotes "", which can by typed by holding down the button. This is a simple oversight that they should’ve told you before you started coding

Garbage
Literally garbage
Comment/Quotes are broken
Any lesson that involves using quotes for comments is broken. Won’t let you pass the lesson. Very immersive breaking and hard to feel like you are learning when you are fighting the app every other lesson. The lessons that work are great but I can’t recommend as is.
Nostalgia (also great app from what I remember)
I’m just writing this cuz I got excited when I found this app again. It’s really nostalgic for me because I started learning to code the summer before I was in fourth grade and this is the very first app I ever used to learn it. I’m 17 now and I might try it again for fun (I don’t remember much C++ so that’d be interesting). I gotta say to anyone who has ANY interest in learning coding ESPECIALLY if you’re still in school, do it. I struggled with math a lot, but once I pushed through learning to code it really helped and I ended up being a year ahead of my grade in math later in my schooling. Also, if you’re a complete beginner, C++ is kinda hard but if you start with it, it makes almost everything else look easy. So, your choice lol, but I’m glad I started with it

Fix the app
going into each excercise for some reason when you type the correct answer it just wont pick it up
Proof reading required
A nicely constructed and reasonably priced app that lets itself down in a few areas:
1. Occasionally unclear language describing the test to be resolved.
2. Several typos in the solution (use of a single colon rather than double colons pointing to std namespace)
3. Rejected solutions that are perfectly viable but may, for example use optional parentheses for clarity. I ran several of my solutions in Visual Studio and they worked fine but we're deemed wrong in the app.
Just needs a good dose of proof reading and some flexibility in the answer evaluation logic to really raise the value of the app.

need to pay
One free chapter?
I learn a few lines of code that don't mean much and leave more questions answers then I have to buy each chapter there after? No, please tell me up front honestly and openly what you want.
Good job thank you I'm now little dev
Thank you very much
Great app
Don’t usually leave a review but this app is very cool and neat for someone just starting off in C++
Nice idea (if it works)
Which it doesn’t. Oh well
Awesome!
Great price to get a lot of knowledge. The creator breaks down all the basics in an easy to understand way.
Needs fixing
The app has problems recognizing “Hi”, rendering the very first task impossible.
Horrible instruction
This app does not explain what is needed. In addition when you do what the app is saying is needed it does not forward you. Horrible instruction. And horrible app if you want to learn.
Don’t waste your time
Little to no explanation for what you’re meant to do. They tell you to do something without teaching you the commands and format you need first. Plus many of the rest don’t work correctly. I have tried the first 4 parts and Number 1 and 4 don’t work. Even typing exactly what they tell you to in the hints it says it’s incorrect and shows you what you should type which is exactly what you put. Very frustrating not knowing if you are doing something wrong or if the App has issues. Not helpful

Cant get past first part
It wants you to enter “Hi” so you do it. Next thing you know you are incorrect. No matter what you can’t get passed. Developers need to change
Chapter one
Chapter one > exercise 4 doesn’t work, 😐
Decent App, frustrating oversights
for someone experienced with coding, the app is very usable for learning the syntax of c++, but there is a significant amount of missing characters or small mistakes that make certain lessons hard to understand and complete, which would have left me incredibly confused if not for previous experience

Multiple rating requests are annoying
I like the app itself as it is helpful in learning C++, so I purchased it. At one point it had asked me to rate it before it would let me move forward. I was okay with that at the time as I was still using the free part of the app, so I rated it. Now, after I purchased it, It is insisting once again that I rate the app and won't let me move forward even after I rated it a second time. I have yet to find a way to move past this. Definitely not happy.
