Very good App
I pick up at a descent pace。 the sequence of the lessons forces you into repetition which makes it stick。a few bugs writing characters， but overall a better than average learning proram。

I'm finding this a help in learning Mandarin. Because it is very interactive, I don't get bored or lose focus as easily. We'll how the rest of the lessons go!
Hoping for better support
I like how they use a story to teach content. The storyline is engaging and helpful. However, the 'now you write it' part of each section does not work. No response after emailing screenshots a few times. If they fix that issue, i would give it four stars.
Best App Ever!!
Just bought the full package for a great low price! Love using all the functions of this app to learn Mandarin. Especially where I can say it, then compare to the voice. Plus I love that it has an extended vocabulary page. Also the games are so fun as learning tools. All in all, the best for mastering the language! Give it a chance, you won't be sorry! Thank you for creating this app!

Good language program, buggy app.
I have only done the first lesson so far, but this app appears to cover a lot of ground for the price of the IAP.
I like to hold my iPad upside down as I'm left handed and it works well with the Smart Cover. This app forces standard orientation and causes some weird UI issues if you launch it upside down. It's also a little aggressive in asking for reviews.

Money well spent
I love the versatility the app provides with various real-world scenarios you can memorize or study in various ways to meet your needs. I also appreciate the daily reminder to study even though I don't always heed the advice! Keep up the great work! Xie xie!

Nice iPad App for learning chinese
The first lesson of this language learning iPad App is free and by this lesson judged that rest of 29 lesson going to be very much helpful for learning Italian. The cost $1.99 per lesson worth it.

So it drops from $15 to free. I thought I would try it out. Downloaded it - you get one tiny lesson for free, but to open the rest still costs around $15. And even then, the lesson jumps straight into an advanced style, useless to someone who wants to learn the basics.

If you are going to make it pay as you go, at least take the time to change the description. Although the program and first lesson are free, each of the remaining 29 lessons are $1.99 each or $14.99 for all. Judging from the first lesson, there's not enough content to justify $14.99.

You can only do lesson 1. After that it's $1.99 per lesson or $14.99 for all lessons. I find this very deceptive. Looked at lesson 1 and not impressed. I've seen other language apps that are more effective and user friendly.

Native speakers talk very quickly and you can't break it apart into manageable chunks.
Top and bottom menus waste HUGE screen real estate. this is an iPad app, why do the actual lessons only get to use 1/8th of the screen?
Generally confusing UI. What am I doing here? Enter into the box? What box? Press review button? What review button? Where? How do I move "forward"?
The advert makes it appear there is video. There is not, just a random picture to take up more space.

Great Application, but limited at times
The Hello-Hello Chinese app is great for those people who want to learn Chinese using both vocabulary flashcards and follow-along conversations. While the app is limited in it's availability of flashcards, the app is amazing for those who dislike learning vocabulary without context.
The audio and video do not play.
Pretty useless since the audio and video are broken. :(
