This is a nice app but the mis-pronunciation and using a cassowary to represent and ostrich are mistakes that should have been noticed before it's release. If you can look past these mistakes that will hopefully be corrected your child will enjoy the app.
Nightmare app from hell
For the voiced letter A some buffoon has pronounced anchor as ANCHER! What educational use is that to a child?
Adverts pop up blocking the letters which are meant to be a touch/audio feature. Inappropriate adverts pop up covering the whole screen, completely removing the option to play until it's done.

Nice app
Very nice and helpful app for kids. My two year old boy loves it and he is learning fast by this way. Giving this app a five star rating.

Advertisement covers letters
The advertisement covers half of each letter so my son can't even read/learn from it!
Absolutely ridiculous
The advertising covers up the letter which the child is supposed to be recognising. Don't waste your time downloading this app , the developers need to rethink how advertising should be used. It would be good if this problem was resolved.

Potential to be a good app, shame about the hundreds of adverts that pop up continuously. Will be removing from my iPad now!
Pronunciation issues
My grandson enjoys this app but I can only give it 3 stars due to the pronunciation of some of the words in the English version, (e.g. lemon, anchor, ukulele, Xmastree).
Too many mistakes
You're trying to teach children their first words and in this app they are wrong. 2 examples in the short time I trialled this. The app says word Anchor as it is spelt 'An-Cher' rather than the correct pronunciation 'An-ker'.
Secondly Ice-cream is not spelt Icecreame.
Little things like this make all the difference when learning. Please sort them out.
