Wish we had the option to add words to word bank that aren’t in the app!
I like this app for beginners who are trying to expand their Filipino vocabulary. The recordings of the word pronunciations are clear and high quality. Some of the parts of speech for some phrases could use some fixing (e.g. tagaluto in the occupation section is a noun and not a verb). I did manage to expand my vocabulary in just a one hour session.
Features wishlist:
- I purchased the $9.99 upgrade, but I wish there were more words beyond Lower Intermediate II. Hope they add more.
- Dialogues that actually let you hear the words being used in sentences
- Verb conjugations

Excellent and fun
This is a fun and easy way to familiarize yourself with words . The more you repeat the steps the more you learn. So far I am on the free section and after I master the section of important 100 words, I will then purchase the full version for only $10

This is one of the best apps I have ever gotten. I really want to learn Tagalog and this gives you flashcards to practice, sentences to understand, and lots more. Just a heads-up, this is like a free trial, so if you want maximum words you have to pay ten dollars, but other then that this app is awesome!

A pretty nice app. I especially like the inclusion of sample sentences along with the pics and vocabulary. Flashcards are good too. One thing that would improve this app for me would be a function where you could go through a whole category of vocab (i.e with the audio pronunciation of each item) without having to click the screen each time to go to the next word. This would be useful when e.g. Driving.

I cannot get beyond the first word page
Rubbish!
Might as well use google translate. There is no word or sentence option. Just a new dumb word or sentence everyday. Eg hairbrush. Useless!

Thanks to this wonderful application I can now proudly walk down the streets of Manila and announce that "my earphones are too tight" or tell my wife's parents that "the dog is urinating".
