Awful UI
As soon as I started the process to create an account, it was clear that no one at this company has ever thought about UI/UX. Once in the app, I clicked on "study" and it asked me to translate a phrase into French. The UI is so muddled I had to guess what to click to get started correctly - and apparently I guessed wrong. I stopped there and deleted the app. There are sooooo many better options for learning a language, I don't know why anyone would waste time with this app.

The easiest one course to learn and practice French. I recommend it. Two thumbs up.
great way to learn
BUT purchases must be made to enjoy/learn from all classes and divisions. there are multiple ways to learn without purchasing which you can do unlimited, which is really great! awesome for beginners/with basic understanding

I have been using this app for a few years and I can honestly tell you it’s rather useful and in conjunction with other learning aids it helps to enhance ones knowledge of the language.

It’s very hard to learn I don’t like it very much
Good, but...
I wish there was an option to adjust the speed of the French translation. Sometimes she says things way too quickly and that's not a good teaching tool. Pronunciation is key and she whips through very well---but too quickly for learners.

It’s good but a little expensive for everything. It would be a great idea to move the play button - it’s directly over the top of the text you’re trying to read - schoolboy error really.

I really like this app. The method of recalling works well. I would have liked to have seen some indication of cost for subsequent levels before completing the free section.
Very motivating
I find the app very creative and well thought through! It challenge you every day and motivate you to learn more!
App can access and use PI, bank info etc
I wanted to use this app, it sounds like a great app. I read the legal disclaimer (like I always do before agreeing). This app seems to be part of a growing trend where they reserve the rights to access your private info off of your computer our phone, including bank and credit card info. This is wrong.
Now, I don't mind paying for an app I like, but I won't even use a free one if they are going to access my PI. I've been a victim of electronic thievery before (a waiter copied my credit card and tried to charge several hundred dollars). App developers shouldn't be part of this network of new age thieves.

Easiest way I've found to study French on the go. The rating system makes my study sessions more efficient. Way to go brainscape! Thanks for the awesome app.
Great learning tool!
For me this is turning out to be the best app...and free ... To review and learn French. The ability to select your level of mastery of each phrase, the method of repeating words, sentences, grammar hints, is a great way to master the vocabulary. I am trying many of the apps out there and so far think this one is one of the best.
