Great for beginner!
This is a fantastic app for beginners. I thought it might be too advanced but it’s spot on. I really like the detailed explanations. You can’t beat the price and I think it’s one of the best investments I have made.
Ads make app unusable
I downloaded and was able to use this app to complete 2 mini lessons. It seemed great as a language learning supplement and an excellent alternative to Duolingo. However, the free version requires ads (fine/expected). However, the ads are impossible to close, meaning the app is impossible to use. To get to the lesson, you need to watch an add, then the Ad screen is impossible to close out of/the “X” button doesn’t do anything. I closed the app and watched the add more than once! Effectively, no further French lessons are accessible :(.
Do not recommend unless you want to commit to paying without sampling the app for more than a mini lesson. Beware, Ad purgatory!!

Heart problem
You shouldn’t lose a heart just because you get a question wrong there shouldn’t be hearts. You should just have fun. Like I want to play and I got some questions wrong and now I can’t play. So I got a new app and deleted this one and everyone who has seen this review I suggest you do the same. You only have 5 hearts you should at LEAST get 15. And that is way you should change your mind and go get a different app until they change this one.

Perfect
I’ve always had trouble trying to find a way to learn french but here I can go at my own pace as well as learn every bit of the language in a linear way if I so please it’s exactly what I needed.
Stick with it
I really appreciate the break down in each area to give information on the WHY not just the how. It helps me understand the correlation between English and French as well as customs and history. This app I actually put above Duolingo as far as teachings go. Duolingo makes it fun to learn but doesn’t actually explain anything, it’s much more of a gaming experience so using both apps is helping it stick much more than just using one or the other.
