Fun way to learn
The programmers have put together a fun way to learn utilizing various modalities: visual, auditory, kinetic, & verbal. By engaging the different ways people learn in a manner that is fun & useful it is helping me to learn quicker. So far I am only using the free version. I haven't learned how to slow the sentences or if there is a way to do this, but I am enjoying this app! I am rating it 4 stars only because I don't know if there is a way to slow it down. Also it would be nice if there was a place to look at individual words & sentences vs the situational scenes, which there may very well be, but I haven't found yet. Merci!

This app is great to brush up your French. What I like the most is the fact that the lessons cover topics such as ordering in a restaurant, shopping, going to the bank etc.. which is very useful. Also, I really like the exercise to record and review your pronunciation.

A motivating programme however, not for a beginner as the level of difficulty, especially when trying to write the dialogue, rises quite quickly. For a student with some grounding, it is really good, covering all aspects of the conversation. The later version (August 2014) is much easier to navigate.

The price should be up front in the description. Eg Introductory lesson free, addition modules $2.99 (or whatever).
Well structured
The lessons are based on real life situations, with some comic elements to make them interesting. I like the opportunities to practice speaking, writing and reading - all in different stages. I especially like the way the program offers to develop vocab. This program is a great way to start learning French.

The sound doesn't work
Don't buy this app. The sound does not work on it.

Best language learning app I've had. Easy to use. Good audio/pronunciation. The simple and clean animation gives you just the right amount of details to understand the situation. I highly recommend it.

I didn't expected the app to be so good. Its exceptionally a good application to learn French on mobile device. The lesson sections like 'Now you Write", "get the meaning" and "now you say it", are very effective to practice or learn the French language
