Paid but still shows ads
Very annoying. Even though I paid for the full monthly price, the app is still showing me advertising before the exercise.

Blank white screen
Opened the app and got a message about an old version that can be downloaded, then a blank white screen with "HootLingo Learn German" across the top. Closed the app and reopened in case it was a momentary glitch and now just the blank white screen.
App store says my Mac is compatible.

They change the layout and everything. I had the paid version and now I see ads.

Diese App ist sehr gut, weil man neues Vokabular auf A2-Niveau lernt und hört, wie es auf Deutsch ausgesprochen wird.

Ich finde das App sehr gut, aber das hat ein Fehler jesdesmal, dass ich das App benutzt habe, das App in ein paar Minuten geschlossen hat.
Needs some improvements
This is a really good app but wasted opportunity, first you can join both your apps and offer something complete but at a fee that I myself would pay willingly .
But there are some othere issues I like you to address :
1. when listening, the moment I lock the phone it stops playing , it doesn’t even keep the phone on and you need to constantly tap on it!
2. exercises could be much more interesting like providing some gaps that the user has to fill out to consolidate the already learned vocab or even parts of a sentence to be put in the right order.
3. ability to add files to a playlist and listen to them while driving or something
Hope you consider these and provide an update asap.

B1 Geschichte "Entweder grau oder blau" hat mindestens 2 Fehler - Renovierungarbeiten (nicht arbeiteten), hat mir empfohlen (nicht "mit empfohlen"). Sehr schlecht.

I am a DaF Tutor and I can’t believe that I found this app so late! I installed it yesterday and today I bought the ad-free version, which is absolutely worth it.
I recommend it it to all learners of German, especially those who don’t live in Germany, to use this app, because the audio offers a virtual immersion experience with a wide range of topics.
The voices are clear, so is the text which you can listen to as you read; there are exercises too, should you wish to use this app for reading comprehension skills.
