It is clear the author either didn’t have it edited or didn’t have a good grasp of Go. As a Go programmer I was frightened by the numerous errors within the text and examples. I thought the interview questions might be useful, but they also suffered errors and no examples.
There are better resources on the internet, many for free. If you want an App Code Playground has a good Go tutorial feature and lets you compile and run the code. It will get you further.
