Nice for learning & live use
Nicely laid out, clean and useful set of phrases. A great thing with this type of guide is you can let it “speak for you”, which sure beats struggling with a phrasebook. My thanks to the creators.
Basic but well made
I downloaded this app in an effort to learn some basic Indonesian phrases before my trip to Bali. I like the simplicity of this app, simply read the phrase and listen to the recording👂🏻. It’s not necessarily the most effective way to retain information but for a free app, it offer a lot of useful phrases. I would even pay for the full app if I was planning to spend longer in Indonesia. Overall, it provides the basics you need as a traveller 🙃 I’d recommend this app!

Not great compared to others
Missing several phrases despite paying for full version. Search function is useless. Does not compare to 'speakeasy' app but could not find Indonesian version.
Perfect app!
This is so smart! It categorizes all the phrases, i.e., greetings, transportation, food, etc. and there are so many categories! You click on the phrase and it pronounces it for you, then it also has an option to pronounce it slowly! You can also click your favorites and most used phrases to quickly and easily reference them later! I'm going to Bali tomorrow and am super excited to use this app. It already is proving to be smart, easy, useful and fun!

Great for basic communication
I found this before going to Bali, used it over there and found it greatly helpful. The people there are so friendly and most speak English, but when they saw me trying to use their language, they love it and helped me with pronunciation and other words that can be used to be less formal.
