Very Good App
I ended up learning Italian in record time
Good, useful, but..
The I have had the free version for a while. Bought a new IPad and the word library transferred without any issues which is great. The app shows and says the words as well as allows to record how I say the words and compare.
However, below words are sentences, which sometimes don’t match, such that the word, is not the one in the sentence below it. The words in the word bank, don’t allow me to press n the speaker to hear the pronunciation or the sentences, there are some words repeated.
If you go to a lesson you can hear the pronunciation, but not all the words are there. In the 1200+ words I have, there are many of the parts of the body, but in the body lesson there are far less parts.
It says £9.99 for an upgrade, and with all these issues I won’t pay! If it was half the price I might think about it, but it really, really needs the bugs fixed!

I always enjoy working with the app and it gives me a great advantage in the learning process. Plus I'm living in Italian (Tuscany) now and trying to communicate....Word power is a great help....maybe you have some suggestions
Great App
I like this App because it's basic and not too complicated for beginners. I'm an American living in Italy for a few years and this is a great start.

Sample Sentences
One of my favorite features was Word of the Day with the Sample Sentences. Why was this feature removed or reduced?
No daily word audio
Have been using this app for several months and advancing in learning new words until the audio stopped playing. Customer support was very helpful but in the end I had to reinstall the app and now at the beginning again repeating words already learned. Despite this problem like the app very much.
Something's Wrong
For at least the last two weeks the word of the day does not provide audio.
Basic too limited
The app might be great but the Basic just doesn't work well. Flash cards don't work as well as on other intro apps.

Crashes since ios 9 update
9/25/2015, app stopped working after update to ios 9 on ipad mini. Went to genius bar, reset, and restored ipad. Still doesnt work. Crashes on startup.
Current version has a bug
For some reason my word of the day has been the same for the past few weeks. Also the app locks up on opening.

Awesome Vocabulary Learning Tool (revised)

This app used to work great. Then the update in April 2015 came. Now my daily words do not come over, even when I have a notification of a new word, the app keeps requiring additional downloads for multimedia files and it just appears glitchy. Hope the fix it soon.
I really enjoy this app as a vocabulary building tool. I love the flashcards; and the ability to repeat daily the previously learned words helps lock them into memory. The only reason this app did not get a 5-star rating is the flashcard option for random order causes the app to crash. They tell me they are working on the fix.
