Thanks for pointing that out! You’re absolutely right, numbers like 4, 7, 14 and 17 can be said in two different ways. For example, 4 can be shi or yon, and 7 can be shichi or nana. The reason we use yon and nana in the app is because they’re the most common and standard forms today. Shi (4) is less used because it also means “death” in Japanese, and shichi (7) can sound too similar to shi, which can cause confusion. That’s why when you hear 17 as juunana instead of juushichi, it’s not a mistake it’s just the more standard version people use in everyday life. Pretty good except sometimes sound is delayed and I get the wrong answer bc of that 😑
But really good app overall some slight bugs
